Published by Darron Toy on

this is a video about Warsaw Poland that shows you Warsaw for many different perspectives it's a big city so you've only get a glimpse and a small glimpse at that for closer looks at scenes you see here there are over 100 videos at our webpage link below if you can make this video more informative please make a video response via your YouTube account everyone is assured to appreciate your contribution let's start with a panoramic view of the city from the towel on top of the Palace of Culture on a sunny day leaning my hand out of the screens with the wind and a camera bouncing in the wind but you get a picture of the city it's big it's well done it's under construction and reconstruction everywhere you look there are new buildings going up the hotels have increased dramatically from the days when there was a little more than one five-star hotel and other local hotels we're looking here down into the older part of Warsaw and over towards the old town we'll show you more of course Warsaw is on the DS what and on the piece were behind that bridge is the National Stadium this is an early morning walk on Abby's way so it's a little bit dark yet but you get the picture as we look up to the north we see the other bridges quite busy early in the morning then let's look back to where we were at arrow shows the Palace of Culture the tall one with the point on top and the Warsaw skyline this is where we looked in our last view we pan around and we get out and look over to the Zoe War section of town and in the foreground we come up on the old town we come back from Marian stuck at the old town and pass over towards the Royal Castle and it will give you a view of the castle square really quite nice again a great day in a fall but you get the picture of course as attractive as the old town is to people to me the most beautiful place in Warsaw is at the site of the Chopin monument it is just fantastic it's a great place to go and sit and read and listen to the concerts over there on Sunday morning during the summer what a beautiful view there are many other beautiful places in Warsaw that you can go things to do places to relax of course you can always be sure to be stopped by tradition here we are waiting on a tram as the Polish cavalry stops the traffic to cross the road on their way to another celebration and another part of Warsaw tradition never ceases and is never forgotten in Poland quite a nice event they are fun to watch when you get up close in the city there are some beautiful hotels this hotel is really just a hop skip and a jump away from the old town then we have the Kings baths everybody has to go see the Kings baths you don't get past like this in the modern hotels but the King had one and people love to go see it now let's go back over and look at the National Stadium people are coming here there it is in the gray in the distance beautiful piece of work what a contrast between the relative new construction at Marion stock and the National Stadium and then in town traffic bus the people move on this is where the people live and work so now let's jump the tram we'll head up this early bush and look at some of these sites on the outskirts as we ride the tram up what we're going to see is some of the older section of Warsaw along the vishwa River but then we find up here is the largest shopping mall in Warsaw it's beautiful people come from all over the city and from outside the city to come to this particular shopping mall on the other side of the coin we have these little bazaars all around the town and this is where many of the older folk as well a young folk come to get good deals inside these little bazaars you can find some unbelievable quality goods at good prices this little fruit stand fruit and vegetable stand in Warsaw my favourite nothing but quality and service these people take care of you you don't get anything bad for them always a smile and always there to help and answer your questions and then of course you can always buy your mushrooms on the street there women go out early pick the mushrooms and end up on the street side selling regardless of the season warsaw never stops in the summertime there are many green parks the people enjoy them with their families with their friends in the wintertime the old town starts the season by changing its look it decorates for Christmas and it opens the Christmas village and then the streets of war saw our lit up it gets dark in Warsaw about 3:30 in the afternoon but that doesn't stop the people they light it up if it's vertical it has a light on it and they have some absolutely beautiful displays this fountain goes up every year it's something to look at people stand in awe on the streets of Warsaw this food coffee shops food and coffee shops this is no biscotti a favorite place for tourists and the people of Warsaw all week long the places are filled it is a great place to be and there's a lot of activity it's a meeting place for everyone and then the local food people know to go just across the river to the Praga side and over to Francisca it's quiet you generally find only the people from war so the tourists don't know about this wonderful restaurants this place here many people go across the river just to get french fries their constant stream of people at that place and then there are other beautiful international restaurants up and down this street for those who are interested in traditional Polish food there are the typical offerings of petrol ghee this is up in plus constitute Sea coast a little sign in the corner that's the only advertising that draws you down this street to a little pierogi restaurant local people know about it it's packed and then in the winter time at the Christmas village you had get it outside if this weather here is a couple degrees below zero Celsius it's cold but pierogies there and if you want there's some big O's this is the real thing it'll keep you warm the city of Warsaw is a city of regions if you go to the north you find some new districts such as this one in saudi boss where you have a younger more money population buying into the newer departments but then in the older districts that were built just after the Second World War you have many people who got these apartments under the days of communism there's a mixed population here as the older folk die off and younger people come in and take over these apartments and then you go into the city once again you have a mixed population in the city where the people who got these apartments during the days of communism move on to the better things in the sky Warsaw is really something to see in this city there are many contrasts this is plots constitute C Constitution Plaza it's a place where people gather to demonstrate and express their dissatisfaction here and there but celebrations are generally held over at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier where you find some very beautiful happenings the city is beautiful you'll find flowers everywhere all summer long the poles just continually plant flowers down in the old town in the wintertime there's activity the people don't stop there out the locals come down there's still plenty of coffee shops plenty of places to meet plenty of things to do and in the summertime they find their way to the beautiful pools that are around the city this pool is one of the nicest pools that I found in the city in fact it's probably the nicest place that I found in Poland to swim it is just absolutely beautiful it's packed packed the people come in droves it's nice food clean well pleased well maintained then if we go back over to the parks we find the poles are family people Warsaw is a city of families the people are out in events constantly this is a little celebration over at Patoka the families are out it's a small promotion for athletics the kids are all over the place I do hope that my comments and Warsaw and the pictures have shown you something of the city there is so much here I really can't put it all in one video come to our site we have many many videos on specific subjects in Warsaw and in Poland and again if you can add something to this project by making a video response via YouTube please do it just use your YouTube account make a video response make an answer and to some of my comments it'd be most appreciated and everyone watching these beauty of videos I'm sure will appreciate seeing things from a different perspective have a good day and

In 2012 some of the buildings that went up in the 90's began the process of being taken down to be replaced by newer buildings. This is the second phase of renewal of Warsaw.

Poland is very different now compared to the 80's. Becoming more beautiful every day

Considering the number of people on food stamps and on social security disability benefits in the United States, it seems that the US people at large are rather poor. So it is really hard to say.
Lifestyles are different. Costs of living are lower. Medical costs are lower.
The shopping malls and restaurants are packed. Construction is still going forward.
Go to the MasterPage for information about Poland.

Thank you for the comment. I do hope you get the chance. The dynamics of the City are impressive.

polcham · July 28, 2019 at 12:55 pm

Thank you for the comment. There is a lot to see and a lot to do. Before you come look at as many videos as you can. Much of what is covered in them is ignored in the written information. That is understandable since there is so much to see.

polcham · July 28, 2019 at 12:55 pm

Perhaps the Polish people have their priorities set towards putting their money into replacing them, renovating the insides first, building and improving roads, building a new subway line, adding bike paths, replacing trams, and so many more important things that are making Warsaw better every day.

Only one thing is stupid in Warsaw: The Communist Appartments in het centre of the city. Why aren't they painted? It doesn't look nice.. But after all. It's a wonderful city. Even better than Rotterdam, because Poles built their Oldtown agin

polcham · July 28, 2019 at 12:55 pm

Thanks

polcham · July 28, 2019 at 12:55 pm

Right now I have materials for about another 50 videos on Warsaw. My problem is that each week I wander here and there walking and on my bike. Everywhere I go I take pictures.
Over the winter I will get them up.
All the subscribers should see them as they go online.

Tomek Darda · July 28, 2019 at 12:55 pm

very true! it's probably one of the greenest capitals in Europe

polcham · July 28, 2019 at 12:55 pm

There is so much to see outside the center of the City. Sometimes one feels that one is not in a city at all.

Tomek Darda · July 28, 2019 at 12:55 pm

Great, objective vid, thank you! 🙂 Warsaw really deserves much more attention not only from foreign tourists but ironically from Poles as well. Hell I don't know why Poles themselves are many times so negative about this city of undestructible city! Being totally wiped out some 70 years ago now it is one of the highest cities of Europe in terms of having Skyscrapers and one of the highest growing. It's inspirational and slowly Warsaw's getting the credit it works for 🙂

yinchanvo · July 28, 2019 at 12:55 pm

I do appreciate your video and skills. Thank you

polcham · July 28, 2019 at 12:55 pm

It is no different than picking them in the forrest. You have to know what you are doing.

Street and roadside sales are big business. People would not buy them if there were problems.

When we buy, we examine each one, just as we do when we pick in the forrest.

Karsolec · July 28, 2019 at 12:55 pm

@polcham I don't know whether well I understood, but I will answer. I would like to make material about Wrocław but you can see I am pressed for time because from morning till night it is necessary to work. If you have time I am inviting to Wrocław to make material he will be richer than the one about Warsaw. Of course I thanks too your works and desires for showing Poland but please choose prettier cities.

Nie jestem dobry z gramatyki angielskiej lepiej mi się mówi niż pisze.

polcham · July 28, 2019 at 12:55 pm

To prove your point, why not make a video response showing videos of each of those cities.

In fact, everyone are invited to do the same.

Karsolec · July 28, 2019 at 12:55 pm

Zobaczcie lepiej Wrocław i Kraków, a nie tą zapyziałą Warszawę.
