Vissel Kobe vs Barcelona [0-2], Pre-Season Tour of Japan, 2019 – MATCH REVIEW

Published by Darron Toy on

[Applause] hello and welcome to talking savor and I'll come back here to the channel guys to the second match review of the season here in pre-season it was our second game against whistle Kobe and we have a win we have a victory here in the brand new season is Vissel Kobe nil Barcelona – courtesy of two girls from Carlos Perez the young Barcelona B man has got both of them here – really impressive girls – we're gonna be talking about the game in its entirety that's coming right up let's get into it and what I have to say before I even get started on the Barcelona side of things guys is number one we came out the blocks in the first stuff and once again just like against Chelsea I felt we were a bit sluggish we were moving the ball very very slowly we are quite lethargic in our play we weren't really in a rush to get anything going in terms in the final so we didn't really create a big amount of chances there from close range and I have to say in that first staff above everyone else the best player on that pitch was none other than Andres Iniesta he was sensational and I really do mean that he ran the show in that first half from midfield Vissel Kobe he was picking the ball up he is playing balls in behind he was playing one twos there was a few really nice combination as well between Iniesta and David veer that kind of understanding that kind of telepathy between the two players it was brilliant to watch in any esta and nobody's left I know that obviously is no longer a Barcelona player but watching him in that first staff it was a joy once again and he's still got it he's still such a good player and he went very very close there in the opening five minutes to actually scoring from the edge of the box really good effort he actually beat her stegun but it was just wide to the post but any ester in that first stuff that was all that he played he was sin sectional and just quickly guys somebody who'll be playing regularly once again alongside Andres Iniesta in Japan is none other than Thomas Vimala a quick bit of news here but we do move on with the game the Marlin has joined Vissel Kobe who've widened their range of X bar cylinder players ver Marlin will be joining Iniesta via and Samper in Japan after his contract expired a Barcelona and he signed now for Kobe but if we move on now to Barcelona in that first off this year was the team that an Aston valve already chose their era who came in to replace the in Gerard piqué and Hiroki Albay also missed this game through injury sometta he has started to write back once again Jordi Alba and Longley they're complete in the defense it was busquets Rickey pooch and Ivana Antikythera midfield rafinha today was moved out towards the right-hand side playing more in the front three but not in a false nine today it was more over to the right-hand side and I felt he was still pretty good but overall he wasn't as good as when he was playing centrally against Chelsea saw less of the ball today and have less of an impact I think coy yadah was one of those plays in the first half who actually really impressed us all he was good he looked good on the ball he had a few nice runs as well a few nice moments of magic there in the final throat I think he was one of the players who stood out there in the first half Ricky butch again had some nice touches and Antoine Griezmann lead in the line still as of right now still no goal for Griezmann but he is getting there he still got that shot miss about him he's one of those players in that team there although it was sluggish he was one of those who did look like making things happen he was on the move he was looking for openings and I think overall there in that first stuff again those players have got to give a bit more they've got a show bit more urgency and know that it's early on in pre-season I know right now they're still not Matt sharp but you can see in the second half what we can do what you can be capable of even this early on in pre-season and that first half team there they've got to do a bit more for me because in that first half there wasn't enough going for us but then the second half for me it was a completely different story from Barcelona quite literally because once again an sto valve already changed all 11 of players pretty much there in the second half and played a completely different team but straight from the off they look better they look they're like they wanted to make something happen and it really did they very nearly did straightaway in the second half it was a short corner kick between Malcolm between Dembele they're out on the right hand side whipped into the area Jean Clair Talib Oh very very close to exploring a goal just came off the post very very unlucky but I think to people in general today once again very very good very assured very calm very promising and I think certainly he's done his reputation a world of good so far on pre-season alongside salmon of dippy they play pretty well once again GM was on the left hand side once again and he also played a part there in Carlos Perez his second goal that was a nice bit of pay a good good bit of weight on the pass as well there from GM on the left Montreux it was on the right hand side today not Oreo biscuits for once again a player there who usually plays in midfield but here he was at right back with once again Sergio Berto in midfield so Valverde very much serious this season we're no longer gonna see Sergio burr to it right back that's not gonna be happening he's made that very very clear right throughout preseason and it is gonna be Nelson Samara in that area Roberto midfield Tony was quite good I think better than he was against Chelsea he made one really good bursting run like we know that he can because I think he midfield report is not going to be the technical player he's not going to be ticky-tack a style in midfield what he's gonna give us is something different somebody there who can break the line somebody who can run and carry the ball in those kind of areas and he showed that again today Carlos Alania there alongside Frankie young those two cotton by each other really really well I felt the young particularly was really really impressive and you can see the players around him then look in there to play it to the young get it back work it forward making the run they're making the run because they know that Frankie be young we'll be happy to find them he's got his head up he's looking forward he's looking for that pass very very good very good signs there from Frankie too young and they're not the forward line which I think was very impressive I think Malcolm particularly in this false-9 role here played very well considering of course he's not technically a number 9 type player he did well there in that area he was a big big part there of Carlos Perez his first goal and I think he played well he was Dembele there from the right down side and once again some moments and dem Bella's game we're a bit erratic some of the shots that went a bit way would run exactly what you want to see but at the same time he got himself involved there is sign of life there I think Dembele is one of those players who will improve as preseason goes on and of course he will meet sue but that goes for many many of this team as well and of course the player that we are going to talk about in most detail the match winner at the end of the day with two girls here from this left-hand side it's Carlos Perez and have to say here when you're talking about Carlos Perez and his performance today and in particular those two goals a lot of the time in pre-season young players can come out of the scene they can score girls maybe a tap-in here maybe a penalty there and you're going away thinking yes they've scored but it wasn't really anything out of the ordinary today though from Carlos Perez you watch those two goals they have very very good girls really good finishes really clinical strikes and that's important because in against Chelsea I saw Carlos Perez in the second half once again and he was very very good he's making good runs he was very very destructive there in behind the defense and he looked like scoring the problem was against Chelsea though he got into the final third and he seemed to panic he seemed to waste those chances and certainly he could have done better today though he put that right he got into the same areas but this time he put them away really really good girls this is what I mean here about urgency you look at the first girl from Carlos Perez he's in a tight space he's twisting he's turning he plays the ball into Malcolm there he plays it centrally and then what a lot of plays were doing in that first stuff they were playing that ball and they were standing there they were waiting they were thinking right I've got rid of it I'm done now Carlos Perez though played that ball into Malcolm that he wanted it back he made a driving run there into the box he wanted it back he got it back from Malcolm a brilliant little slide pass in behind he's in on goal wonderful finish strength through the legs there of the goalkeeper that's a great great goal but the second one for me is an even better strike he gets it again it's a good ball into him by GM a lot of pace on it it's a good first touch he gets it out of his feet and once again you have a chance like this against Chelsea from the same sort of angle and he put it wide he dragged it it was a poor finish but this time he's learning from his mistakes and it's a wonderful strike really good power straight across the goalkeeper when you're from that kind of angle that's where you go across the goalkeeper low and hard a great finish there from Carlos Perez and I'm very very excited here if he gets more chances across preseason because he does remind me right now of Jose all night somebody who used to come through Barcelona be somebody who tried to make it to the first team look like doing that he was somebody who could cut in there inside and score goals as a sort of inside forward but of course then our knife had injuries at the wrong times you then found yourself sold away from the club again he's at injuries then even from that moment and it never really happened but Carlos Perez very similar here in his characteristics he's quick you can cut inside he's happy here to go either side he can go either way and looks very very clinical very good there in front of goal and he's able to score from the wide areas and that's important in any team any team in the world getting your wing is there to contribute with girls is a very very good thing and he's done his reputation today the world of good so overall guys I think particularly in this performance today we can be relatively pleased once again I'm looking personally for more and more improvement as we go on like I said in the preview wanna see some developing you want to see the players getting more Matt sharp more confidence in the first stuff there's a world of work to do there really really is the players there in the first stuff they've got to do more they've got to show more they've got to show more energy they gotta show more urgency and certainly as pre-season goes on I would expect that I would expect to see that in the second half really happy with I've seen certainly good players in there certainly encouraging displays two very good girls and like I said in the preview guys it's really good here to end our pre-season tour of Japan with a victory with a good confidence-building win two girls to nil a clean sheet as well and of course along the way we've got to see any ester we've got to see Petra in the last game you got to see David via Sergey Samba a job well done Asia tour is done now we're back to Barcelona the hard work begins with our next match against Arsenal in the shown Gamper trophy so please leave your thoughts in the comments down below guys what do you think about overall performance today what did you think of the first stuff what did you think there are the second half and of course what did you make of those two girls from Carlos Perez leave me your thoughts in the comments down below I'll be back later on here with another video discussing some parts the learning news but until next time guys as always visca el bar [Applause] [Applause]

A sluggish first half was saved by a much improved second half. What are your thoughts on the game, culés?

Am I the only one who's excpecting coutinho to play his best football this season? We actually don't know the power of our words… people forget what is he capable of only because he played 2 or 3 bad games… show some love and support man! Visca Barca! ♥️

Sarband Omar Rashed · July 30, 2019 at 5:18 pm

He needs to start playing for the first team I mean Charles perez

Omar Sanyang · July 30, 2019 at 5:18 pm

He is good and he should be given more chance to prove himself in first team not only the pre season.

Beena Daniel · July 30, 2019 at 5:18 pm

Is the match against arsenal preseason?

Shivam Thakur · July 30, 2019 at 5:18 pm

Well being honest barca played very bad against a weak team. Don't expected that. If Valvarde stays with his shit tactics the barca gona again loose this year

Yes Perez & Arnaiz and oh so similar in their play and result. But one major difference Perez has is, he has been through the ranks, Arnaiz was bought I felt as a player to try take the B team to the 2nd division, so outside of the injury, we can surely remember no matter how much promise he showed while fit, he wasn't given the chance(s) when he could have. So it was so easy for the club to sell him once an injury came in. But we will see what happens with Perez.

I do believe the Chelsea game he was under the jitters of playing for the first team against such a major team. In this game he was able to relax and play HIS game, and the typical Barça winger… really liked his movement for his first goal and both shots he was very composed and confident.

Rockwildaz Family · July 30, 2019 at 5:18 pm

Griezmann's movement & touches shows so far that he WILL fit in to the Barça system soon. Puig really should have passed that ball to Griezmann, if it was Messi he more likely would have. The lack of sharpness I put on guys just coming back from holiday and we can't ignore how much of an emotional match this was due to the ties between both clubs.

Speechy Israelite · July 30, 2019 at 5:18 pm

We should be worried as barca fan because this atletico team with so many new new players is way ahead of us

Mark apolo · July 30, 2019 at 5:18 pm

Perez is good but he might end up being like José arnaiz

Immortal Rooster · July 30, 2019 at 5:18 pm

I feel like Perez would play brilliant with Messi I hope Valverde will give him many chances once the season starts

Immortal Rooster · July 30, 2019 at 5:18 pm

Our young players are the ones who should be playing my god the De Jong, Perez, and Alena combo is amazing

henkie henkie · July 30, 2019 at 5:18 pm

We are waiting for 2 years and Dembélé still doesn't understand the Barça philosophy

cp3 · July 30, 2019 at 5:18 pm

i think i’m the only one that thinks perez is complete dog shit. people hyping up 2 goals against some japanese farmers. i’m mind blown really

Victor · July 30, 2019 at 5:18 pm

Valverde will ruin all of our young players.

Victor · July 30, 2019 at 5:18 pm

I'm getting tired of Dembeles selfishness and lack of football IQ.

Victor · July 30, 2019 at 5:18 pm

Keep Malcom. Say no to Neymar! #notoneymar
