When I visited ujjain I loved two places most first is of course ram Ghat and second one mangalnath temple…… (you escape one of most imp). The temple of Mangalnath is located away from the city of Ujjain and is accessible through a winding road. The temple overlooks a vast expanse of the Shipra River. The Matsya Purana refers to Mangalnath as the birthplace of mars. During ancient times, Mangalnath was famous for offering a clear view of the planet and was highly preferred for astronomical studies. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva

Ujjain is unique because of it's geographical locations, this city is located on the Tropic of Cancer and ancient Indian scholars, astrologers and astronomers considers it an important center for calculation of time.
A wonderful place to visit.
