Love the detailing on the sidings at Northampton, Grand, but had to point out the large tree growing out of a rail at 1:23…

pity the steam is't dynamic, you often see locos with darker steam on inclines or chuffing along with heaver loads. That's one thing I liked about the VR train simulator, you could see the steam and here the change in chuff when working up inclines and such.

For services that stop at Melton Mowbray, while there’s a few infrequent East Midlands trains that stop doing various different routes (mostly to Norwich from Nottingham) the main service is the Birmingham new street to stanstead airport which is a different service to the Birmingham new street to Leicester service that you currently have in, it runs the same route, but based on the times that you pick train routes, it runs express from Leicester to Nuneaton.

At Nottingham, shouldn’t there be a crossover (since you can’t at that awkward platform 3).

Class 222 [East Midlands Trains] have 4/5/7 car lengths. Class 220 4cars [XCountry] and class 221 5 cars [Virgin and XCountry]

You can easily config-edit the catenary spacing, Grand. The game's default is 25 meters but in real life it's usually between 50 and 70 meters. I think it's set to 35 or 40 in my game.

Market Harborough has had a new station modernisation which means the platform is straight now and the approach from the north is much straighter.
