Top 7 PVE Base Locations On The Island!!

Published by Darron Toy on

once again this is for PvE so you are going to have the environment in mind and you know what says a more beautiful basement having a waterfall cascading behind you what is up ladies and gentlemen it is CJ the chief eg back with another video and today we'll be taking a look at top 7 base locations around the island so that's seven places where would suited best for a PvE base so before we start I just want a huge thank you to everyone who's come along and viewed the videos or the new subscribers that have come along and I apologize for not uploading over how the exams and being the middle of a lot of work lately so that's why there haven't been many uploads but we're going to get back into the rhythm of things and start uploading some more now so in no particular order once again these will be 5 base locations where I think are pretty good PvE base locations and you know this is my opinion let me know if you guys find any other kind of bases where other base locations that you think are really good now so number one we're going to start off is this place here the place where we built our playthrough base you can see here it's it's got rather high walls there aren't many predators in this area the pretty much the strongest thing you'll find in this area after is Eno sources you can find a few over in these woodlands areas over here as well as over there you've also got there is a mass orestes spawning it now you've also got the sheer cliffs which means you can stick up barricades at the top of them or even at the bottom and if donors come falling down you'll easily be able to stop them if you don't stick barricades up you can stick the big behemoth gates up although that's not really recommended because you don't need to on TV service and you can easily roll this off with a behemoth gate as well as the other end with a behemoth gate so this way this place is my number words not my number one it's just number one on this list now the location for this base onto my map sites alone loading is at about sixty one twenty one so it's in the South never eaten yet southwest section of the map you can see there there's our little marker and the coordinates for it so you know that's the facing of mine number one to start off the list number one place number two location is writing it in the south or in the middle of the map pretty much so you can see there which kind of in the on that River intersection you bit across on the red one bone right about 49 49 58 I'd say roughly and you know this place it doesn't look like much but there are plenty of stone resources here in order to build yourself a nice stone base granted there are a few predators you can see a counter here there is also a pack of raptors over there but you know there's nothing to stuff that you know there try kicking it can't handle fringes sample but once again like these first base that I showed you you can build easily stone gateways that will block off this section of the little kind of crevice kind of thing that you got going for yourself as well as this site as well as this site then you've got plenty of space to build up a pretty big base there's plenty of room here for base structures and there is also tons of stone in order to cementing pace building stone structures you know you'll be set for stone for days do yourself a decorous and you can easily harvest all this up now as well as this is all you've also got the river here which further down it spawns in all the t-rex's and the spy knows further down it as well as that the Redwood biome is across the river which you know you can have access to plenty of wood Dyer bears lots of you know lots of foraging stuff going on for yourself as well now if you're not happy with that little location over there you can also build up here on the little droplet outlet however the ground here is not as flat as it is on the bottom of that first place where I showed you so it may be slightly more difficult to build it however I definitely definitely recommend that place for number two number three is just next to the green obelisk at about the same quick vault key it's at about 59 69 so a few few more distances between this base and the last base but I showed you now the reason this basically is because mostly all the diners in this area are herbivores except for that Spiner there in the distance you will get the old Spinosaurus and River bit but you know that's that's nothing really to managable the spiders will tend to stay away from you as long as you don't go too near them and you know trying to attack them on a Rasim now this place has lots of nice flat lands you'd easily build on you've got plenty of water for irrigation and if you're not happy with that you can always build over Waterfalls or even come down here and build the cross in this little section where once again there aren't that many predators and you have less of a chance of encountering a spider down you can clear away these rocks and you can easily build the base across the water and make it look all pretty an aesthetic once again this is for PvE so you are going to have the environment in mind and you know what says a more beautiful basement having a waterfall cascading behind you so as well as that you've also got the obelisk next to you so you can easily go and do all the bosses easily now you see this poor Iguanodon is being harassed by bunch of pillows that's probably the worst thing you're going to face around here aside from the spine oh so you know you're not really in a pretty perfect place there is metal nodes not too far from me I'm pretty sure there are some up there as well that you can easily use and gather so we are coming up to number four now and this location has been essential for my time on playing AK on the PC I would always go to Bill T it was probably one of my favorite spots to build I made huge structures here I even managed to build a bridge from one section of this map and it led over to the edge of the cliff over there and it pretty much had a huge breeding ground for my dinosaurs and this ramp was like seven foundations wide so it was quite fun to building now you're probably wondering why would you build before that doesn't look very flat in you know it's not very appealing well this I kind of built it with PvP in mind because of all the trees but then I kind of got used to it I was like you know what this could be a very nice PvE base so the deal with this place you could either use up here for your personal base or down here for your personal base what I did though was I turned this area down into pretty much my Dino holding pen I had two behemoth gates one on this side and one down over here on this side granted it doesn't look that great because of all the trees and rocks but I had behind this gates there and then walls lined up along the whole cliffside just to stop my darkness from falling and there aren't very many predators carnivores here I think you get the odd karna wandering up from this little section down here you can see a car know down there that's pretty much all you'll get aside from you know the dealers and the the Megane areas and Titan vanina's other than that you don't really get many other predators down here we are in the south section of Arc so there isn't much County but like I said this ground is nice and flat so you can easily build bases now like I said I did use this for my diner holding pen and then up here was my actual personal base and I managed to get a rather large structure I can't remember exactly how big it was but it was pretty big like I had three separate structures and they were all bridged together using diner gateways and like always I did have a separate holding pen up here I always had a screen shot that I could show you guys but unfortunately my computer is not much of a computer and didn't go very well running arc but I still managed to play but I had a separate holding pen for like my smaller diners like my Raptors my divers and all that and then obviously this rock wasn't here and then there was a bigger one that had it was about he was about 1516 high 1516 Wars High I had the bottom section built off for once again more diner holding and then the top section was all my storage or my crafting stuff and then over here I had a separate aviary for all my flying Gunners and a quest landing platform and everything like that now I did use this section mainly for the larger diamonds down the bottom here like the rexes you spy know Zuko knows your other sources or that down there well my harvesting donors and all like my little traveling donors or up here so that's why I think this Basin is number four this is just an extra one I wasn't really going to include it there but I thought you know what it is a rather nice place now the only problem I have I had with this place full of the metal notes you do have a few on herbivore Island which will be there shortly but other than that you did have to fly quite some distance to get to the metal nodes now if there is a base built on herbivore Island you are kind of limited to metal gathering but you know you can still make this place work it's a very nice place to build now number six on this list I did sable the top five what I've decided to extend it to top seven because why not okay so this place is definitely a challenge to build on it's more of a fun challenge they turn a difficult challenge now this is the Stonehenge located at the bottom of the map you can see there it's about 89 about 1955 so this place is rather high but it is definitely fun to build on this placing you can easily build up with pillars and then foundations on top and this can be your main bulwark of the base or you can choose to build down on the ground in this center section here although I would recommend building up on the higher platforms because it's definitely more fun there and then just keeping your regular lens rolling down eyes down here or you can even choose to build in this flat Center over here it's really up to you although I would definitely go for the challenge to building on top of the rocks not only will your base look awesome you'll have an amazing view that's if your PC or Xbox or Playstation can handle it now as well as how you can build little outpost kind of things here where you can there's enough space for a few foundations on these little outcrops and as well as that you've got the ocean out there you've got this little storage section as well where you can store dinos granted you can't really fit too much through this section I think the most you can fit through is probably a miniature as long as the active and like beavers and all that sort of stuff in phoebius diners you can't really fit too much else in P but you can just keep them out there at the ocean's edge which you know isn't too bad of a storage location you can build up water docks for yourself as well as that you can build like ladders and ramp the lead up to your actual base graters will probably take you a while but once again I've had the experience of establishing a PvE server on a PC and some of the builds that one of the guys did on our server was incredible like he managed to build an entire fort on this structure of Stonehenge it was incredible like it was all linked together there were ramps and stairs that actually managed to get up to this bit it was just amazing it took my breath away but this place should definitely be on your list to build because it's just such a different aspect of our building up in year going you can choose to build on a redwood by on tree but you know that's that's that's nothing compared to this storage structure out here plus you've got all these rocks and stuff now once again the only downside is can you dinos you're gonna have to travel a bit of distance to get yourself some good car nose kind of all sorry as well as find some metal which you know your closest locations once again herbivore island or the mountain in the center or if someone's built there then you're in a bit of a pickle undisputably one of the best PvE building spots that you can build a base on is herbivore island now this place is located down in the southeast section of the map at about 85 82 which you know you can't go wrong with this place but before we continue on with over 4 Island B coordinates for the last basic last location that I showcase all right about seven 580 it's around that little Inlet there you can see on our map just above us it's just that so if you plan on checking that place out it's just there now herbivore Island you can't go wrong no predators whatsoever you've got herbivores everywhere you're looking at plenty of bronto's plenty of raw prime meat that you can cook up and then you know turn it into jerky to make kibble you've got metal roads you've got I think there are about six metal nodes on this island you can find them floating around this market X obviously but then you just saw to that now you can easily K man ain't Cleo up together all that set it to wonder and you'll be set same as you know a mammoth you can transport a mammoth over here on a raft which once again is the only Gausman you don't have a flier you're going to need to build a raft to get over here which you know could be troublesome or even team up some water dinos and transport them over here using their it has a perfect location for a water base it's not sorry not a water basis for storing your water dinos you can feel this this is rather open now if you don't like storing them in the middle of this section you can easily go to the back of the island however this section does drop off pretty deeply once we get through the Regency there you can easily fit a mosasaur in that little Inlet so you know you've got to take that in consideration it looked at the bacillus or you'd even same and mentary so yes so this place is definitely one to keep on your list and in mind when you're planning on building a pv base that little midsection in there you can easily ward off the wall off the top sections with spiked walls to keep out all the pesky herbivores from invading and as well as that there's plenty of flat ground once you get up this little hill or this is flat like look at it or it's all flat you won't have any problem snapping your foundation to anneal any of it and you can easily speak a behemoth gate for aesthetic purposes there you know it's a rather nice based location and one that definitely needs to be on this list now undisputably number one in this list I'm going to have to say goes to this location even now this is referred to as the valley now the valley is probably the I'm going to place the best base location in the game that's my opinion you know if if someone isn't built building here or has built here yet I would definitely recommend going straight to this place because the perks that this place has in it's just amazing there is so much space to build and you can wall off if we get out of this rock thank you you can or for that we give wooden barricades you can roll off the intersections where they all meet where you can leave the place with two behemoths cause there are four three sorry three exits that you can leave out of this place you've got beaver dams being spawned in here you've got beavers you've got plenty of fishing you've got your ID Socko which is too much to handle but this place is pretty much free of carnivores and predators that you really need to worry about it's just an amazing place to build you can have separate sections of your base designated so over here you can say for example have farm land over here you could have all your dinosaur storage over here you can have vases over here you can add more bases and once again this place is an ideal for tribes because each tribe member can have their own little separate space because you've just got that much space available to you and you know this place is just easily one of the best places to build you've got plenty of metal in the surrounding mountains you've got a mountain over there you've got a mountain over there and you've got a mountain over there you'll be set for metal for days you've got plenty of rocks plenty of trees the surrounding forests have plenty of trees now as well as that you have lose it closely located to Carnival Island carnival Island is just over this little Ridge here straight out across the ocean and you'll find kind of all Island you can see out over there build yourself a boat you can easily transport dinos or just even swim them across there's a mountain that I earlier mentioned earlier as well as the one over there and the one over there you've got easily access to the small location for any snow related daming dinosaurs that you want to get up teamed up and you know this place is just it's perfect it really is because I think this is easily one of the the best base location building compete EE in art so that'll be – for today guys let me know we've sort of it I think I displayed some pretty good base locations if you guys aren't sure where to build definitely check those places out there are niches before we forget the valley is at 2269 I'm going to say roughly you'll easily find it once you get over E but other than that guys that'll be it for today's video hopefully you enjoyed it hopefully you found it useful let me know if you did down below let me know where your guys have built your base I would really appreciate it but other than that guys thanks for watching and I will catch you in the next one

The main problems are hunger low levels of metal and the dangers of the ocean. But no land based predators, not even a dilo or theri

Julie Daly · May 16, 2019 at 10:22 am

You missed a location for a safe build in the south east of the map near herbivore island

Fresh Peppers · May 16, 2019 at 10:22 am

I literally live on the cliff that’s across the ocean of herbivore island.

HeatcoalGaming · May 16, 2019 at 10:22 am

Literally anywhere

man boy · May 16, 2019 at 10:22 am

I have a travelling bronto base with some paracers all with platforms. My bronto is my main base and my paracers are for other stuff like farms, storage etc I have a few rexes for protection against a particularly strong threat. My worst fear is the giga one could just stroll along and wipe them all so I have my squad parked inside a few behemoth gates when I log off for extra protection

DrSirDieALot · May 16, 2019 at 10:22 am

Has a GPS, still tries to guess coords on map. Apart from that, good video brother !!

My base is on herbivore island but the down side is there is lots of megladons and unless you claim the whole island not enough space for all your dinos 😩 plus dinos climb over spike walls and drop in all the time! Lol

Logan Brown · May 16, 2019 at 10:22 am

What is his intro music called?

Monzta Demodog · May 16, 2019 at 10:22 am

I know another good base location in the redwood forest its at 61, 31. It looks a bit like the valley but there are a few carnos but you should be able to take them out quite easily and its got some good flat land on the little cliff sides and you even have an explorer note and water fall

BloodWolfGaming92 · May 16, 2019 at 10:22 am

I've always built my base on the lake in the middle of the Redwood Forest. No matter how many times I have played, I always make my base there. Yea, there are quite a few predators you have to contend with but the amount of resources available make it worth it. You are on a lake so you have your water for crops and irrigation as well as a supply of fish. There are plenty of trees for wood as well as a small mountain not far off with metal and crystal. And if you can get a Quetz, or a couple of Argys, both of which can be found in the Redwood forest, then you can take a little flight straight to the volcano for all the metal/obsidian/crystal you could want. There is also a cave with an artifact not too far off from the area (though the cave if filled to the brim with loads of hostile insects. Though overall, the area itself is really pretty with the towering trees which can be used for platform structures as well. You can also get snails in the Redwood Forest so tame up some of those and you will have an almost unlimited supply of cementing paste.  The location has just about anything and everything you could need for a nice little PvE base if you can get up a nice little defense against the predators in the area.

Sorry that user name is taken Pick another one · May 16, 2019 at 10:22 am

Hidden lake is the best base for PvE because it is close to a spawn point and people go to tame Castoroides leaving beaver dams full of supplies to get started the lake offers a close water supply,a few animals that would cause a threat that will uncommonly spawn, the only downside is that very rarely but possible for a alpha carno to spawn which is a threat for low to mid level players. And for pvp it only has 3 (4 if you included flying) ways to get in and if you block them off securely no one can get in,because it’s fairly close to far’s peak you can get metal, crystal and obsidian, those giant beavers that spawn there are great for getting wood and it is fairly close to the ocean and winter biome so If you need to tame anything there you can tame it

friedlizards · May 16, 2019 at 10:22 am

I don't play on a server because my phone can't handle it, but I built my base down there around the rocky place he showed, but it was on that small island next to it. I fenced the whole thing in and let some of my smaller dinos wander, and it's really pretty. Not the flattest place, and not a lot of metal but it's still really cool. There's nothing really dangerous, either, just some therizinosaurus and some spinos if you go up the river a little, and I think a sarco spawned on it just once but other than that there was nothing too dangerous.

K9 Globe · May 16, 2019 at 10:22 am

be aware on number 2 gigas do spawn

Myung Kou Kang · May 16, 2019 at 10:22 am

How big was your PvE base? A 2×2 or a 3×3 single wall height seems small. Should I go 5×5 or larger? And how tall should I go? I’m only playing single player with no PvP or PvE active, just me against dinosaurs and the elements.

Frank Engbjerg · May 16, 2019 at 10:22 am

In PVE.. I like the hill at the maw. At roughly 42 – 48. It is close to all resources, except water and oil.
But build watercontainers that fill up in the rain. And level up an Argi, and airlift in the oil.

Retro Boom Boom · May 16, 2019 at 10:22 am

I love to build on herbivore island, but I use the name Ilha da Lua for the name because of its shape.

Masked Pride · May 16, 2019 at 10:22 am

Perfect!I have more options to build! But sadly i deleted Ark and then re-download it,cuz' i have TONS of problems on updating, and i was level 29,and when i re-download it,i realized that i didn't cloud save the memory.:')

Marinesrock07 · May 16, 2019 at 10:22 am

So far I've been building mine in the swamp on the little spot that juts out just across from the redwoods

Red Dinosaur · May 16, 2019 at 10:22 am

I also rate the last one 12:30
