The Will to Succeed as a Traveler

Published by Darron Toy on

welcome to do more life my name is jeremy clutter and i am so glad you have decided to watch this video this is a video in which i will explain the will to succeed as a traveler the will to succeed as a traveler and something you either have you learn or you're born with if you'd like to take vacations that's all fine and well if you like to take holidays that's all fine and well i'm talking about a person a single individual who wants to get out and travel as much of the world as they possibly can what does it take to do stuff like that the first thing it takes to be a solo traveler and to have the will to succeed as a traveler you cannot be scared to step on fears throat you literally have to be able to look at fear in the face and step on its throat because if you get scared and run away your travelling is over i've been going from home now almost two years I have to tell you I've experienced some of the most difficult times in my life and if you want to see a video that talks about difficult lives you should watch my video called seven years of freedom on this channel but do what after you watch this no difficulty allows us to grow obstacles teach us how to overcome them speed bumps are things that we drive over but they get our attention roadblocks are things that make a stop things that we have to think about things that involve critical thinking things that make us unique in our own way things that make us think about what it's going to take to get around the roadblock what's it going to take to go through the roadblock do I have the power to get through the roadblock go out the energy well how do you set yourself up for some of this stuff willpower when I say the will for success what I really mean is the mindset for says the mindset for success is traveler because willpower will only take you so far if you want my best example of why willpower will only take you so far go drink a bottle of X relax and then will yourself not to go to the bathroom that's a lot as far as willpower will actually take you now but that being said you guys need to understand that willpower is important but by willpower I'm talking about self motivation and having the right mindset when you leave home leave home with an attitude that you're going to accomplish whatever goal it is you set out to accomplish no matter what the cost and sometimes that cost can look like the end I mean it can literally look like you're gonna have to pack your stuff up you're gonna have to go home there's nothing you can do I see many travelers especially solo travelers prematurely in their journey because they simply cannot put one foot in front of the other any longer the pain has gotten too great and they need relief and they know that solace is at home they know that solace is with their family and they know they can get that solace if they just get on the plane and get back home me personally says I've been traveling I've had some of the best and worst experiences of my life I've gotten to see places and things that I I would have never dreamed of when I was young I've met some of the best people in the whole world some of the best people you could ever meet in your life some of the most giving caring loving people and what I try to do when I meet those people is let their good rub off on me I want their goodness to rub off on me I want their skillset I want to have their drive and determination those are the things I try to take away from those people and I've also met some of the most horrific human beings on earth some of them live here in Thailand some of them live across the ocean some of them live in various other countries for some reason in my situation Allison be Americans but I don't know why that is the moral of the story is there are people that you will encounter on your journey who will literally do anything lie cheat steal what you must understand is the truth always comes out you must understand you have to persevere because if you allow the challenges to dictate whether or not you quit then my question is why did you start because when I think about quitting the first thing I think about is why I started and I started this journey to make myself a better person I started this journey to find out what I was capable of quite honestly I've always been a person up until recently who has had extremely low self-esteem I never had a ton of friends I was never the popular guy and I found myself doing things that I never thought I was capable of doing since I've been travelling Southeast Asia the last almost two years now and I just want to give you guys a little hope shot I want you to know that it's possible to do these things I have videos on this channel with instructions on how to do just about everything how to overcome just about anything that includes extraordinary exaggerations of truths lies and deceit deception and manipulation from those around you will be two of the most hardest things you ever have to overcome you can't see it now but you will and in this case hindsight will always be 20/20 but I want to encourage you as I've encouraged myself to learn from these people there are two types of people in the world the type of person that will teach you what you need to do and the type of person that will teach you what not to do ladies and gentlemen I'm here to tell you that my first experience was with people that taught me what not to do I was with people that taught me how to behave maliciously how to get what they want at all cost doesn't matter who they hurt doesn't matter how much they lie there's some really awful people in this world that will do some really awful things but what you have to realize is they're more good than bad no one's perfect everybody's capable of change as long as you remember that you will always have an open mind in my experience the key to life there's open mindedness forgiveness and willingness many times that willingness be the willingness to change for me the willingness to change is one of the hardest things in the world to do I'm not a creature of change I'm a creature of habit I always remember this as you find yourself out on the road thinking that you can't do it anymore change takes place over time not overnight don't expect to wake up one morning because you set a bunch of goals the night before and achieve them all be patient be charismatic be understanding be kind kindness will take you a lot farther in this world than daxing people or filing fraudulent criminal cases against them or filing fraudulent civil cases or getting on public forums and trying to tell the world how bad they are trust me guys kindness and the truth will always prevail and I'm here to tell you that as long as you remember that and as long as you remember no matter what your goal is to put one foot in front of the other every day and continue to do that every day no matter what you will be a successful traveler I know because I'm doing it right now if you enjoyed this content and you like this channel please give this video a nice thumbs up I sure would appreciate it and if you want more content usually not this serious but much more lighthearted travel vlogs fun education photography that is what do more life is all about please subscribe to the channel I catch you guys on the next video take care

Keep the videos coming as your schedule and personal needs allow. Remember you are the most important person in your life. It is almost like your a part of our family. Me and Beverlyn do watch and enjoy and learn from your very high quality videos. Nobody does it better!
Some times we all need that steadying hand on our shoulder and since I also have had to deal with treacherous people in the past and I am very careful who I allow into my inner circle and I know very well how you are hurting but just keep going. Keep up the great work as for haters Eff 'em.

Jeremy , i like your down to earth approach to traveling and the ups and downs , your so right about the good and the bad , pick yourself up and move forward and learn from your experiences , yes and be carefull about people and how they come accross , you never know who you are dealling with , but the truth always comes out , all the best brother

That kind of nervous feeling I get when going to a place I have never been is what Iโ€™m addicted to, I can be a creature of habit but when I realize I am getting to comfortable thatโ€™s when I push myself to do something different. I always feel stronger and more confident after I made it through the bad times. One of my best times traveling was in Jamaica, I lost or had stolen my travelers checks (yes it was that long ago), I only had a $150 on me, I met a local that had a jerk stand and stayed at his house on a pig farm in the mountains for my remaining 6 days, gave his family $100 of my money which they didnโ€™t want to take, I seen a beautiful side of Jamaica that I would have never seen if I hadnโ€™t lost my money. They even gave me a ride to the airport. Ever since then I try to find local people and learn about their life no matter where I go. Thanks for the video I needed a reminder today of what itโ€™s all about. Keep Doing More Life ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Daniel Williams · July 30, 2019 at 8:36 pm

That's why people like you and me leave America. Love my country not so happy with our culture at this time. Carry on

sassed1 2many · July 30, 2019 at 8:36 pm

Not sure I'm going to get out there this year. I'm 4 months past the end of my contract and they're assigning me to more clients. I'll work as long as there is work. In the mean time I'm watching closely… 8–)

You always take yourself wherever you go. However, it is possible to do a major personal makeover when you travel longterm, if you feel the need to do so. Sometimes others around us want to keep us in some sort of box or bondage but when you leave behind all that you have known, the world is there for you to open. Many cultures can hold unknown pitfalls that we are ignorant of so always be on your best manners. That will take you far with the locals.

Hey Jeremy, Iโ€™ve been watching your videos for some time now. Itโ€™s amazing to see that you made this video because this Friday I will be a full time traveler. I have quit my job and have gathered all my savings. I am not the one to just go out on a whim and see what happens I have done my research and have a good amount of funds to last me awhile. I want to thank you for the helpful videos you make and hopefully when Iโ€™m in pattaya i can grab a beer with ya. Sincerely -Kaylan
