ive been actually studing this thing as well but with other religious concepts. the AUM. A is the creation of the idea . U is the implementation of the idea running the simulation. and M is the end where you can rest quit critic get feed back where you can begin with A creation of new systems to better it all. U run it again v1.2. then M the feed back.

One day Jesus told a story in the form of a parable to a large crowd that had gathered from many towns to hear him: 5“A farmer went out to plant his seed. As he scattered it across his field, some seed fell on a footpath, where it was stepped on, and the birds ate it. 6Other seed fell among rocks. It began to grow, but the plant soon wilted and died for lack of moisture. 7Other seed fell among thorns that grew up with it and choked out the tender plants. 8Still other seed fell on fertile soil. This seed grew and produced a crop that was a hundred times as much as had been planted!” When he had said this, he called out, “Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand.”

9His disciples asked him what this parable meant. 10He replied, “You are permitted to understand the secretsa of the Kingdom of God. But I use parables to teach the others so that the Scriptures might be fulfilled:
‘When they look, they won’t really see. When they hear, they won’t understand.’

11“This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is God’s word/calling. 12The seeds that fell on the footpath represent those who hear the message, only to have the devil(the negative mind/negative people) come and take it away from their hearts and prevent them from believing and being saved. 13The seeds on the rocky soil represent those who hear the message and receive it with joy. But since they don’t have deep roots, they believe for a while, then they fall away when they face temptation(no sounding habits is built in the mind). 14The seeds that fell among the thorns represent those who hear the message, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the cares and riches and pleasures of this life. And so they never grow into maturity.(distractions of life) 15And the seeds that fell on the good soil represent honest, good-hearted people who hear God’s word, cling to it, and patiently produce a huge harvest.

Wayne Moss · February 18, 2019 at 1:18 am

Through meditation, I found a sense of liberation, rising to a new vibration.

I found the universe within, as I saw my atoms spin, I could hear them sing.

Walking alone, feeling chilled to the bone, in search of the philosopher’s stone.

Traversing the darkness, improved my sharpness, my fears became harmless

Facing the dragon inside, with my eye open wide, it is time to swallow my pride.

Eternal victory, from endless loss, a rolling stone gathers no moss

To give is to receive, to take is to deceive, so let’s roll up our sleeves.

We have what it takes, to make the earth shake, with the knowledge we obtained from the snake.

The morning star shining so bright, signalling the end of the dark night.

I fear myself, I've entered the "cave" of the shadow, it's far more terrifying than anything I've ever encountered in the external manifestation. It challenges the very understanding of reality and duality. My darkness isn't unique but a connection to the human condition.

WATER-MAN · April 3, 2019 at 11:29 pm

this is astrology! encoded or perhaps decoded( by Campbell ) for the human mythos and psyche. all the symbology in campbells work proves it, and that there are 12 steps etc…the ordinary world , special world etc. emphasizing the suns journey…any syncretist will tell you this, and @00:44 is so clear, the hero's journey begins in Cancer at the top of the circle,(the sun in summer), the sun follows till it passes over(the threshold) which is the pass-over of the equator. the "fall" of the sun in winter, then in Capricorn it begins its return. finally ending in the spring or "Aries"(the first sign or house of the Zodiac , which is beginning again, the cycle….

this tells me Campbell had incredible understanding of the hidden mystery schools, and used this as his model for the psyche, syncretizing astrology, and the path of the human on his/her journey also through the celestial,, and incarnation cycles…free yourself from the circle. that is your purpose…stay in the circle and you are there forever, until you realiize, you can be free of the circular trap….

I am mystified by your knowledge. 30 years now and its still brand new for me. All tho I know it earlier, I like to say, the search for truth become for me in 1989. There are many on this platform with a similar narrative to this here. And it all corroborates what I have learnt, and through work like this we will all wake up to the real life that exists. We need to gently shake each other out of the dream we’re in, cause there’s sleeping pills in the water, but that’s no matter

It doesn’t make sense that goku is in the thumbnail cause he never changes mentally. He is a positive flat character arc where he changes the world around them for the better, but the hero has to learn and overcome obstacles and even themselves to get to that point. Goku doesn’t change and isn’t written to change with a hero’s journey structure so I feel your using goku to get clicks.

Two important books to consider:
1) HalfWay up the Mountain
and 2) The Origins and History of Consciousness
"Halfway" cuts through the crap and falsity and ego inflation in much of spiritual life, while "The Origins and History of Consciousness" makes Campbell seem like a Kindergarten teacher.

I just finish this journey it was really hard

GuppyPal · November 1, 2019 at 4:24 am

I definitely went through this in a profound way. I had lasting trauma from my childhood and adolescence that was really affecting me and holding me back in life, and it was also inhibiting my growth into becoming a fully functional man. I "journeyed into the underworld" when I finally started addressing all this trauma, and it really was hell for awhile, nearly took me out. I didn't have a life and blood mentor (something I regret now), but I did have lots of books, and later did have Jordan Peterson, whose lectures helped me beyond what words can describe. My old self died, I transformed into something else, someone else, and I integrated my shadow. When JP talks about Simba going through the transformation process at the lake with Mufasa in the sky, how people's faces harden, etc, that describes me 1000%. My face hardened, I integrated my shadow, weirdly felt more "whole" than I've ever felt, like I've incorporated this new side to me, these new skills and powers, and I truly am much more powerful than before. It caused a noticeable and permanent personality change in me, and most importantly, the trauma that was crippling to me for so long didn't bother me anymore. Truly bizarre. Bizarre that all this is captured in humanity's myths and stories all around the globe and going back thousands of years.

And now I try to use my story to help others who are struggling with trauma, gently guiding them with however much input they need/want/are comfortable with to help them live better lives and be a better version of themselves.
