POP Episode 2 | Balloon Garland Design & Set-Up on Location | Do They Have What it Takes?

Published by Darron Toy on

hey guys welcome back to my channel and
welcome back to another episode of pop today’s episode is sponsored by sharp
Realty Partners with over 15 years of experience in the North Atlanta area the
sharp Realty team is a team led by passion their unique 360-degree
full-service approach ensures a stress-free process for their clients
and makes them easy to work with honesty and integrity are the signature
of their surface so if you’re in need of a realtor in the North Atlanta area give
them a call I’m gonna have older info in the description box below although they
have no idea that this whole episode is about this to me this is very important
as much that’s creative talent because if I’m not able to work with you and if
you don’t have the qualities I require in an employee how can we work together
so I have a few things up my sleeve so with that said let’s get started with
the video here we go to see what is the project today
interior stairs I decided to make a fake but fun
challenge to distract the ladies and make them think that this was this
challenge of the day what is really not as we all know it’s not me they still
have to go alone so I just kill two birds with one stone so here’s what
happened so we are going to see pokeball des Vosges what they don’t have to be
the size of myself all right you guys are going to have 15 minutes to do this in I have to do so fucker at the same
time I say no I have to do so slowly because I want to everything looked very
nice like a tiger say this is the sample the apprentices squad
has to match my quad if it doesn’t match the correct size considering everybody
else I think I’d be good that was my best baby I went a little hard on the air just taking my time and not juicy really good
well I was the loser I had clearly the most rejects but it’s
alright I’m not a reject I’m going to be
learning and I will kick these balloons bucks
moving forward next we are going to start these are the balloons in my
client want but I do have some pop of color that’s over again I might be put
it into the side because I’m going to be born I’m going to show you how I make my
clusters wanna make a standard balloon garland for my clients my clusters
usually consists of eight balloons two pairs of 12-inch balloons that I do not
over inflate so they are around 10 inches and then two pairs of dupes there
are about nine inches sometimes five sometimes mine and I tie them together
with a 260 balloon aka twist balloon may not be right I am NOT certified please but that is what I like this is what
works best for me so that’s what I can see you so here’s the design we’re
making pretty good name we’re obviously going to see the same colors but I think
he’s perfect for her is very girly and she’s very girly and she loves you know
girls from the government okay but I want you to make it your own
oh okay okay so here’s what the real challenge begins I have intentionally
given the girls very little direction limited supplies and even choices of
color very limited but I need to see if they will have initiative if they will
also have the signed contribution because I always want to be the one
coming up with all of the ideas I need a little help
also I need to see them working together with other people so teamwork is very
important as well as stress management because when people are stressed is what
be added to comes out in time is not taking anybody’s attitude my idea is
that because our base is already dark that we should start with the ombre dark
at the bottom going up to the light yes we cannot start with black because
we don’t have more or maybe we because we have big black ones we can start with
big black lines and then the little lackluster will then start the smaller
clusters for the dark gray you get when I say like yeah yeah okay all right I also didn’t tell them that I was going
to be time enough for this project so we added a little bit of stress into the
mix and some of them didn’t take it so up
alright ladies we gotta start wrapping it up we have about 15 minutes okay today I was a little freshmen we didn’t
have a lot of instruction well ladies all right so you guys had two hours and
what do you guys think we just needed events where you only have two hours to
get things done yeah sorry even when you make the clothes do you think okay if
your makeup alone so on that Intuos put it together but you know that everything
and everything goes wrong yes would you beautiful know what you do
with anything a lot going on so you kinda have to like it up okay hopefully
next week all right let’s do it I think we’re trying we did our best so
we have to figure out who is best to avoid and what I needs to be done today
was challenging it was truly an eye-opener to see how much work goes
into a balloon garlic team work today was on 10 it was amazing uh-huh I don’t
feel like anybody didn’t contribute as much I feel like we’ve all had our hands
on deck and we were doing exactly what needed to be done and granted at the end
you know Tyra had to get us together but as I said we’re learning so we’re gonna
make mistakes and I’m just happy that we have Tyra to guide us it was very
challenging whoo well we weren’t well together especially me and Jessie I
think we did very well together that was awesome we was like kudos would be a
good you’ve seen the little frustrated I’m just me looking at you because
usually you’re really bubbly and stuff like that were you like just like trying
everything done alright like what was going through your head I was a little
frustrated today because I had a real bad headache when I made it work I did
what I had to do to make this look like organic garland for its serious
staircase today was awesome I like our Jeff today because we went to
another place knowing this to do and I really want to try to do this in another
place I just work more the time with Janette and we feel so pretty good a
person I thought who contributed the most I would say is Sookie she was
really helpful and she had a lot of Grint tips or and a lot of different
things she added that will make everything flow smoothly and also
Janette as well she was really helpful in putting things together and
facilitating I’m excited about next week hopefully another garland something that
we can do together and I’m also excited about travel and time management because
that has been a struggle for me he’s fast to challenges so I’m definitely
excited to work on that as well alright guys it’s the set I hope you guys too
enjoyed this video make sure to let me know which one is your favorite practice
leave them a message in the comments below they read all of them and they are
very grateful for all your positive 5 so let me know what you think is the best
match for me next week we are going to go on location again and they’re the
real lessons begin alright guys until next time bye

Hi Tayra, I was on your Instagram page when this alert popped up. I’m so enjoying this new project…it’s the best! So different and presented fantastically. The ladies are all winners x

yvettekenner · October 10, 2019 at 11:16 pm

Isoki- to me stood out. She took the initiative but she listened to other ideas that were put forth.

Janet Morales · October 10, 2019 at 11:22 pm

They all did great! I loved how they worked together to pull through. I really don’t have a favorite. I think they are all amazing women with wonderful talent. But I have to say that Isoke took leadership.

Shadante Smalls · October 10, 2019 at 11:22 pm

Can i be the broken record and say it again i really love isoke's personality she's awesome! I love her tenacity to learn and she's not afraid to take leadership, I admire that alot, you need someone like that to be in go mode when things get down to the wire. I also can see you working really well with Ania bc although she's quiet she learns fast and have a great eye for design and can bring alot to the table

Ronette Winston · October 10, 2019 at 11:26 pm

I just love Jesse!!! Her positive attitude, her patience, her desire to do everything correctly, her drive for perfection, and her style. I think she's just awesome!

Decorating with Tiffiony · October 10, 2019 at 11:40 pm

I love Isoki. She is teachable and open to new ideas. She is a natural leader and worked well with the other young ladies.

Stacey Swearingen · October 10, 2019 at 11:49 pm

Isoke and Jessie stepped up and had great ideals and all the ladies all worked so well together but it's rough getting those balloons to be exactly 5 inches lol great job ladies can't wait to see next week's video

nicole mosley · October 10, 2019 at 11:57 pm

I love this I am nervous for them all just looking at this video Isoke was very outstanding in the ideas Jeanette as well came in strong when handling the balloons Jessie look like she very team oriented as well Ania seemed very well rounded when executing the plan very focused Tedra I want to see her be more assertive. Overall it was a good exercise. Keep up the good work ladies. I❤ Love POP….

Chasity Champion · October 11, 2019 at 12:05 am

Kionte Kent · October 11, 2019 at 12:12 am

Hi Tayra 😍👍,
I enjoyed the video wishing the best for you and all your endeavors ,all the ladies was great the choice is yours, Isoke personality is big , but she delivered the less, time is precious you have to willing to compromise it can't be your way as a team player but as always Tayra keep it moving and continue to reach for the Stars ⭐🌟🌠🙏😘💞.

Daeliz Dixie · October 11, 2019 at 12:41 am

Hi Tyra, great twist to the project! The one who stood out the most to me was Jessie. Her ability to identify an problem (shortage of black balloons)shows her attention to detail. She actively listened to Jeanette's alternate idea (solution) which demonstrated her ability to be a team player. Overall it appears all the v ladies worked well together to achieve the goal.

Elva Ceja · October 11, 2019 at 12:42 am

This looks so awesome! How do you attach all those balloons that hang like a rope?

Perry Walton · October 11, 2019 at 12:45 am

This looks like so much fun! Good job ladies.

Aretha Robinson · October 11, 2019 at 12:47 am

They were doing an amazing job..time just wasn't on their side but great teamwork!!!

DDCampbell · October 11, 2019 at 1:03 am

It’s early right now, all the ladies are good….
Side Note: Isoke is a younger version of the actress CCH Pounder, you could be her daughter.

TaMika La'Trel · October 11, 2019 at 1:13 am

Isoke and Jessie stood out to me on this challenge. I love how Isoke took the initiative/leadership role and how Jessie was proactively thinking. Both contributed to the design… and everyone displayed great team work and managed their stress well.

samantha mitchel · October 11, 2019 at 1:16 am

I like Jessie, she's has good team spirit, she reliable, funny and work ethic….all the rest of the ladies also displayed team work too.. wish them all the best….

ACertainVision mc · October 11, 2019 at 1:21 am

Jessie for sure I think she is becoming my favorite. She seems so easy going and seasoned. Isoke did have an excellent idea and took charge. I say again ladies great teamwork and good luck.

Team Jessie ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Courtney Dearborn · October 11, 2019 at 2:03 am

Where did you get your acrylic cylinders from ?!?!

Balloons and More Gifts · October 11, 2019 at 2:07 am

Good I always use my darker colors at the bottom. I hate oxidized balloons, never leave them outside or have the door open if possible. Speed comes over time. Good job LADIES!!!

Linda Bankston · October 11, 2019 at 2:08 am

Good challenge, all the ladies bought something to the table… Isoke is good at leadership and teamwork Jeanette personality, confidence and teamwork. Jesse perfection and attention to detail. Aria teamwork but need more confidence. Tedra blended too much in background come on gurl rooting for you. They would be a good team but…unfortunately only one will win. Still on the fence with which one will work well with you. Keep the challenges coming and ask that question again.

cdScrapdat · October 11, 2019 at 2:14 am

Kudos to Isoke for taking the lead on the design both her and Jesse put some thought into the design and they where confident in their design ideas. For this one Isoke stood out. But I do like how they all worked together

Wenddy L Camacho · October 11, 2019 at 2:31 am

Hi Tayra!!! Jessi was my favorite today because of her confidence/patience/ great enthusiasm and her easy going character, second by Isoke who took leadership…all the girls have great personalities and are happy!!! So wish I could be part of this challenges 🙂

Pris A · October 11, 2019 at 2:32 am

They’re all great! I’m really liking Jessie’s skills. She’s my fav so far but I LOVE Isoke’s personality. She’s so positive and spunky.

Diys By Abraham · October 11, 2019 at 2:46 am

Where did you get your acrylic round columns in the beginning ?

Tabulous · October 11, 2019 at 2:47 am

I like all the ladies in this challenges Isoke and Jessie stood out

Balloons and More Gifts · October 11, 2019 at 2:50 am

Ok Tayra don't beat yourself up, you do beautiful work otherwise I wouldn't be a subscriber. I'm NOT certified either just a trained balloon artist. What's the difference nothing really it's just I have taken a lot of classes with more experienced teachers. Some people are so creative and talented it comes to them naturally just by looking at someone else work. We all have something we can contribute to each other.

Latina Mom Today · October 11, 2019 at 2:53 am

Jeannette and Jessie Rocked This Episode! Both worked really calm and listened to their team members to collaborate effortlessly 💖

Balloons and More Gifts · October 11, 2019 at 2:57 am

I vote for Jessie and Isoke.

Alana Yarbrough · October 11, 2019 at 3:31 am

Lol I told mom she would end up on camera at some point. I think this is a great idea for the show and I also think Isoke did great and was really impressed that Jeanette was 100% in matching trust me knowing my mother’s standards that impressive 🤣🤣🤣

Gloria Yasmin · October 11, 2019 at 4:45 am

Loved this challenge and the fact they didn't know what you would be judging them on. With that being stated, Isoke & Jessie had the best leadership skills and Jeannette was a great team player.

Pily Fierro · October 11, 2019 at 4:49 am

Arlinda Nelson · October 11, 2019 at 5:36 am

Isoke took the initiative to lead this week with her ideas. Jessie also took initiative by working the top staircase and contributed her ideas to the design. All the ladies did well as a team and those who were stressed managed it better than I expected.

latasha mcguirk · October 11, 2019 at 6:01 am

I’m impressed with how professional this series is going. I think the ladies are doing well. Still too early to tell who’s the best fit.

Stephanie B. · October 11, 2019 at 7:32 am

Again Tayra, I’m fascinated by the show in general. The way it’s put together, editing etc. I enjoyed this episode. The garland looked amazing! How many more episodes until you pick an apprentice? After watching this episode I think either Isoke or Jessie would be a great fit. Isoke because she isn’t afraid to take initiative and give ideas. I also think that in a clutch she would be more likely to make a decision when you’re forced to think quick. I like Jessie because she really thinks things through and wants to make sure everything is perfect. I also recognize (and I could be wrong) that she may be a bit of an over thinker. I know because I am one lol. It comes in handy sometimes but in other times it wastes a lot of time…. so I would say Isoke.

STEPHANIE SHELLING · October 11, 2019 at 8:46 am

There was a woman turning 100 years old and she didn’t have any family attending the party our facility was planning for her. I wanted it to be special. My grandmother is no longer with me. I wanted the beautiful balloons, but I hated balloons. There was no money in the budget for what I wanted. I sucked it up and bought like $100 worth of balloons and an air pump. Let me just say, creating a balloon column or garland IS A LOT OF WORK! Especially when you don’t know what you’re doing and you don’t have a lot of prep time. It came out beautifully for a first time attempt. These ladies are AMAZING! I love the entire idea of this process and the lessons are invaluable. From what we can see it appears everyone worked well together, but I’m sure there are edits😆 Isoke (please forgive me if misspelled) has a great personality! I believe each person brings their best for now to the table. I learned all help ain’t good help, but if you have a team player that can see the vision that is a valuable asset to the team. I can’t wait to see more. Thanks ladies!
