hello and welcome to our review of the Norwegian escape from the region cruise line a large revolution of the Norwegian Breakaway and our region get away before her this time around with hole art by Guy Harvey we thank you for tuning into popular cruising as well as our co-presenter travel pulse pumped my regular written cruise articles the Norwegian escape has a staggering array of accommodations on the word starting with spacious inside staterooms and well outfitted standard bathrooms common to most cabins complete with sizable showers that are easy to navigate a special variety of inside cabins are the studio staterooms accommodating solo passengers with a modular design and separate shower and toilet compartments plus a studio language exclusive to guestbook therein of course passengers can step up to a balcony stateroom as well with their characteristic private verandas almost identical but available larger in size are the family mini suites with balconies and seen here featuring a longer room with a longer sofa is the spa mini suite with balcony also outfitted with a larger and more luxurious bathroom the Haven spa suite with cockney cleverly features a bathtub in the living room plus a larger bathroom with the shower and other than being more spacious in general the Haven family villa with balcony features two bedrooms including a plush master and a luxurious and scenic bathroom increasing in size again is the Haven owner's suite with balcony with an even grander master bedroom and palatial bathroom with the tub and Antle shower not to mention its expansive balcony but increasing in size yet again is the Haven deluxe owners sweet featuring stunning views right off from the bedroom as well as from a luxurious bathroom with the tub dual sinks and separate shower and toilet compartments and an even more massive balcony Haven accommodations of course come with exclusive access to the ship within a ship facilities such as this beautiful lounge and grand outer a courtyard with pool jacuzzis loungers and even its own spa rooms all under a retractable macro dome roof also top is the exclusive courtyard Sun Deck with yet another jacuzzi and loungers for sun worshippers and those wishing to take in the passing views the Haven also includes its own restaurant to enjoy exclusive meals in this handsome setting either indoors or outside for an alfresco dining experience regardless of the accommodations chosen there are plenty of fun activities to go around for everyone like the triple decker ropes course with zip rails and planks the safely step out over the side of the ship it's an impressively challenging complex to say the least or if you prefer to stay more firmly planted on the ground mini-golf is just below with its industrial rooftop female and in the middle of it all is the Sports Complex for full court gaming and for diverse water fund the aqua park has you covered with the number of water slides the most thrilling of which are still these free fall varieties they gain so much momentum that they have an uphill section as well and for those less daring the family-friendly twister slide is still quite fun if only to get a really cool view of the other slides above and new to the Norwegian escape is this tandem raft slide to race along other riders through clear tube sections and kaleidoscopic lighting effects that even sense and react to your pants a sections of the tube even widen out to see if you can pass the writers in front of you all before a final splashdown the kids aquapark has the young ones specifically in mind with its own interactive water elements and water slides there are also a number of pools on board like this one sometimes below the shade of the water slides and near the marketplace and double-decker bars is the more frequented main Google ng qu sees since the pools get very busy it's nice to see extra deck space to spread the fans around above it in fact the public Sun deck is quite expensive it features it silent jacuzzis that overlook the signs of the ship including a nice forward-facing section there's also the extra cost private vide beach club with its own bar or the public but adults only spice age – well another outdoor deck with its own movie screen and its really cool rock Radha for chilling out beneath the shade and dripping water action in a total resort atmosphere that definitely continues of the spa salon and fitness center with its lovely thermal suite Observation Lounge and pools the salon is equally world-class offering a wide variety of services and the fitness center has plenty of equipment to go around must weightlifting and aerobics those looking to get some onboard shopping done have several options as well including at the photo gallery there's even a photo studio on board for custom portraits at the heart of the ship is the atrium and guest services both the good social gathering space an area to receive assistance it's also where to find the dedicated internet cafe also the art gallery displays pieces that are up for auction and leads to a secondary XI atrium that accesses the escape casino thankfully is set to receive an enclosed smoking area that will finally address the pesky proliferation of cigarette smoke beyond which will make it easier to overlook the data in 1980s wall decor the video arcade offers a kid-friendly alternative with seemingly every game available from air hockey to skee-ball and just next door is the entourage team lounge a great dedicated space for activities such as lounging or even dancing and for the younger ones the Splash Academy is an expansive facility full of color and plenty of room for all sorts of activities the Guppies nursery features particularly playful interior design a ship of so many activities is sure to have as many dining options and the Norwegian escape does not fail the waterfront is a boardwalk promenade that features several alfresco venues dining and bars included altogether it's a great place to just lounge and take in the sea views once away from port of course a new specialty restaurant for it of the waterfront is food Republic by pubbelly an eclectic taste of international cuisine like these yummy bites in a clean modern setting with iPad menus on the other side of the ship is the district brew house a great casual setting for enjoying craft beers from the Wynwood Brewing Company and more from on tap and in bottles La Cucina is no region signature Italian restaurant for traditional favorites in a traditional setting including alfresco at the waterfront new on escape is the Tobacco Road liquor bar the ShipWorks sitting for Miami's historic watering hole and after the site is a separate room with the cigar bar replacing the ice bar on the Norwegian Breakaway in a region getaway is the cellars a michael Mondavi family wine bar for wine tasting and wine education without any pretense it's a very welcoming space for a different kind of libation across the way is the sugar cane mojito bar a tropical atmosphere that extends to my mo by Jose Garces a Latin seafood restaurant by the celebrity chef there's even as adjacent pho tapas bar for enjoying Spanish small plates and for sweets there's the bake shop and Dulce gelato on the waterfront for more elegant cuisine the Prime Meridian bar welcomes yes ahead of their me like Cagney steakhouse refine cuts of meat or moderno churrascaria for Brazilian style carvings and just downstairs is the Manhattan room a handsome complementary Maine restaurant with delicious items ranging from beef carpaccio to premium surf-and-turf and decadent bread pudding servicing the other complimentary Maine diners with pre or post meal drinks is the mix bar with the saver restaurant on one side kept very clean by its friendly servers and the taste restaurant on the other complete with a nifty private room below rounding out the specialty restaurants is lady Stroh for French cuisine and an elegant setting and teppanyaki for hibachi style Asian cuisine for a quick snack and drink the atrium cafe and bar have you hover and the skyline bar off from the casino is another entertaining venue for drinks even though the concept is effect simile of a massy competitor rather complimentary heats the oceans Bar and Grille is another fun option with its bonus gaming and view of the atrium screen plus it's tasty food like nachos and a classic Reuben sandwich the Garden Cafe is another option for extensive buffet food and an observation lounge of sorts with its great seating and fantastic views originally offered for free Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville at sea now comes with a surcharge hopefully as a means to limit its abundant crowds food here includes the best nachos on board savory pretzel sticks and the classic cheeseburger on paradise itself also from Jimmy Buffett is the 5 o'clock somewhere bar for tropical drinks on live music and the fun doesn't end there joining dining and entertainment is the supper club a venue a tasty food that is actually most known for its show for the record the brat pack a musical celebration of John Hughes 1980s movies the show that is proven so popular that it is actually relocating to the Maine escape feeder where it's great cast and story would be better served while deserts will remain here stand-up aficionados will enjoy the headliners comedy club a perfect on the wall atmosphere for humor and the main escape theater is the home for Broadway style production shapes the venue itself is pretty sparse but shows like after midnight or anything but the live music and dancing energy are unmistakable and in this sampler speak for themselves you Million Dollar Quartet is the ships Heather main production show but it's actually moving over to the Norwegian getaway instead wherever its final home a recreation of the evening that brought Johnny Cash Jerry Lee Lewis Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley together to record his stunning just check out this sampler to see why you thanks for watching please feel free to subscribe to our channel watch This is the best ship tour I have ever seen! I watch these tours constantly and never see all this. This video is clean, no redundancy, no loud background music, noise or distractions. I like how your presented all types of accommodations and not just suites or balconies. I enjoy doing research on the vessels I am sailing on. I will sail on the Escape 9/1/19 to Bermuda out of New York. I am booked for a solo studio. Thank you for a great tour!

doug m · July 31, 2019 at 9:37 am

just got off, 7 days to bermuda. trip overall was great. getting on, was a little pain. had to wait 1 .5 hrs. getting off was a night mare. you get to choice walk off with your luggage or put it out the night before. we decided to carry it off. they give out color tags to put on your luggage with a time for you to depart. all most everyone got the color tags, but no one listen for when to leave. it was just a mad rush. it sucked real bad. NCL needs to work on this or i wouldn't be back.

Kenny McMullin · July 31, 2019 at 9:37 am

Trish Rohde · July 31, 2019 at 9:37 am

I just came back this past Sunday on the Escape it was really bad the food wasn't that great and the service sucks. It was a nightmare. Stood in line 6 and a half hours to board the ship people passing out in line it was really bad never again.

Ben Dover · July 31, 2019 at 9:37 am

These ships are nothing but tourist traps that take you to more tourist traps. Don't waste your money. Ship is waaaaay too big for seniors… too far to walk. The restaurants are mediocre.

Larry Johnson · July 31, 2019 at 9:37 am

Great staff and had an awesome time! Booked a second cruise to Bermuda.

Eric · July 31, 2019 at 9:37 am

LoL, this is the worst narrator ever.

Robert Greenhouse · July 31, 2019 at 9:37 am

Did you mention the Vibe area?

Gia 456 · July 31, 2019 at 9:37 am

Cathleen Bond · July 31, 2019 at 9:37 am

Looks like a beautiful ship. I will be on her for 14 nights in Jan 2019….can't wait. Thanks for the excellent video 🙂

Christine · July 31, 2019 at 9:37 am

Scheduled for this cruise ship next February, but considering changing because of the dining choices. There are too many "specialty" restaurants which require additional charge and not enough "complimentary" restaurants.

90majestic · July 31, 2019 at 9:37 am

I don't drink. I hate all of these alcoholic drinking facilities. There should be more areas for smoking. I think the cruise ships should hand out oxygen masks and keep non-smoking Clientel in a big bubble enclosure with fresh air constantly pumping in. Give them lots of food to get fat on and drink to their hearts' content until their livers explode in bloody enhancements.

SingBike · July 31, 2019 at 9:37 am

I enjoyed the Escape, but I will say if you don't like crowds, loud music, and a somewhat amusement park setting, don't go on this ship. There are no good indoor, quiet public rooms IMO. Food in the main dining rooms is good, but the buffet was quite repetitive, at least for lunch.

Jose Gonzalez-Valle · July 31, 2019 at 9:37 am

You should do the Norwegian Bliss once it's ready for cruising.

Rootbeer Gaming · July 31, 2019 at 9:37 am

lol I had to use my hands to get to the bottom of the yellow slide

Samantha Awesome · July 31, 2019 at 9:37 am

See you next week

Robert Greenhouse · July 31, 2019 at 9:37 am

That is one of the best videos of a cruise ship I have ever seen! It is so complete and informative! Thanks.

floridagoods · July 31, 2019 at 9:37 am

Husband and I just got off the Escape, we were sorely disappointed, the service sucked everywhere, only 2 so-called broadway shows which we don't like. Main theater is too small for 4000 people. The stage is taken up with an orchestra. The public areas are too small for 4000 people, and the buffet food isn't bad, but other than that you have to pay for all other food on ship. Lots of wasted space for those uppity restaurants and lack of lounge chair space everywhere else. Room attendant was aweful, main dining room server was rude and aweful. And getting water back to room was a major issue, since we couldn't bring any on board and we were on the ninth deck away from water source. We won't be going back on NCL, at least not the Escape. Carnival is more of a party atmosphere with entertainment and better service.

wolf spirit · July 31, 2019 at 9:37 am

this ship is a to go on went on it a few days ago but a big warning to parents about the video arcade and games but mostly the arcade is to watch how meany times they play.Cause they can easy over spend and the prizes aren't worth it 350 tickets for Pokémon cards and I went to about $72 dollars on my cruise account playing six games

Nawnya Businaz · July 31, 2019 at 9:37 am

spiros zervopoulos · July 31, 2019 at 9:37 am

Proud to work for NCL
21 years with the best cruise line!!!

Joseph Dsouza · July 31, 2019 at 9:37 am

Really sad,, that u people really show so much about the cruise,, food and all dining options on board but no one cares a bit about the blood and sweat of the crew who work long hours and 24*7. Straight 9months just to kip u guys happy.. In return wat they get,, salary like peanuts… Highest salary is 1800 us dollars a month working everyday 11hrs. No day off no break…. Better change the term crew to slave…

Baller Walruses · July 31, 2019 at 9:37 am

I always got the impression that Norwegian cruises suck. Maybe its because I only saw the ships a few times while passing on the Disney fantasy.

Nick Oakley · July 31, 2019 at 9:37 am

After watching this video a couple times, I didn't realize how cool this ship is. Nice job on the video!
