It was in Chicago at a University and the newspapers called him a greasy black spot on stage. I loved him anyway! He came back a few years later and wowed the city. Have moved to Toronto since, yeah, I'm lost between two shores, cities. Not New York and L.A., but Chicago and Toronto. Ha ha. Yes he has come to Canada too and yes I was at his concerts. I raised my daughter and granddaughter on his music. What more can I say but "Neil, if you ever end up bald and toothless, I would still love ya!" There is amazing emotion behind every song. He gives his all every time he sings. Whether it’s his own creation or someone else’s. I absolutely love him. Reply BILLY MANDALAY · May 30, 2019 at 9:05 am Did you get it…he consciously decided NOT to write a song about tent revivals in a negative light… He wrote about love, with no bitterness or cynicism in his heart.
