Knight Transportation Road TestPublished by Darron Toy on May 16, 2019May 16, 2019 Categories: Articles Tags: Driving TestKnight Transportation (Business Operation)Truck Driver (Profession) 32 Comments Bruce Robertson · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am The driver tester is pessimistic, every time they needed to turn at a traffic light, he called it a stop light.. fact is, it's green/Go as much as it's a red/Stop light. smile (p.s. if I ever go test there, forget I mentioned this) ha! ("so why did you fail THIS driver? cause the SOB corrected me 3 years ago in a youtube.") ha ha. Reply Jesse Castro · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am Any longer of a road test he should have had you take a load somewhere!!!!! I’m just sayin Reply Ancient Human · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am Great video..I wish I will have a road test in future for this beautiful company… Reply ABQ ENTREPRENEUR · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am At 38:47 the driver waved to another knight truck driver and the inspector marked it off on the score sheet. Moral of my story is ~~~~—> DO NOT TAKE YOUR HANDS OFF THE WHEEL UNLESS YOU HAVE TO SHIFT!!! Reply Davy Brown · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am The worst companies to work for aquadom in a week they can suck my d*** they were working like a slave with no money then the recruiter call me to keep come back HELL NO Reply General Lee · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am This is why I wouldn’t drive for a big company this guy has sense humor like rock on the side of the road and he can’t even call him by his first name. All that just make minimum wage. Reply Carlos Molock · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am SHITTY YARD!! Reply A2 Z · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am In the beginning driver failed to stop or recognize painted stop sign on ground and @ 22:14 wrong lane making that right turn. Failed Stopped watching lol! Reply Thomas Daniels · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am @8:27, driver executed a perfect and proper left hand turn. Most drivers make the left and go right into the right lane, which is not only a bad habit, but improper and potentially dangerous. Reply guitar guy · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am @7:32 that was Swift bringing the check to buy Knight. Reply Michael Trucking Gray · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am Oooh Reply CivilianSheepdog631 · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am Made it back in one piece. Win Reply Mellow Yellow · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am Its funny seeing the 51rst ave exit in this video, compared to what that area lookis like right now Reply Wampas Womps · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am Is this a road test or parking lot maze test? Jeez Reply Florida Bear · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am After than you do the Smith System in a car. I did this test in Fontana and now will be doing it in Lakeland, Fl. Never failed a road test; just drive. Truck Driving stays in your bones better than anything I know. Reply Doug Stern · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am OK as a 43 year veteran driver, here is my assessment of the students driving. He was shifting pretty darn good for a green driver. It looked to me like he's done this before, but I don't know why he was downshifting so much. I tell my students to down shift only when necessary. Was that a 10 speed? I often skip a couple or three gears when downshifting. Down shifting every gear just wastes fuel and wears out the transmission components for nothing. I do cringe when I see guys start off in 3rd. Poor clutch! Maybe he was empty. Other than that I think he passed. Reply Andrew Bencomo · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am I wouldn’t take the job if they ask me to do a road test! If my MVD record is clean and I have my CDL that means I can drive a CMV!! This is your first sign of micro management so yeah I’d move on! Reply Jason Conover · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am Turned left into center lane. Auto fail. Reply PoorMans WS6 · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am Can you pick which brand of rig to drive? Reply Lily Jpon · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am Oops! I didn’t see the sign. 🙂 Reply Romello Hawkins · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am Where is this company located at and how far away is it from Texarkana? Reply Zack Pion Jr · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am Good driving Reply David Lano · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am This seems like a CDL A road test. the driver is so uptight while driving, plus the why he handles the wheel while turning the wheel back to center after a turn, looks like a new driver, but I could be wrong… Reply BrAD Strayer · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am There's a lot of people barking out bullshit on this video who have probably never stepped foot in the cab of a truck much less actually pulled a load Reply ArcticWolves · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am He failed the test at 36:12 When the left hand turn light turned yellow he had not committed to making his left hand turn and therefor should have stopped and wait for traffic to clear then make the left hand turn. He ran a light and did not yield and that's automatic fail. Reply Willie Cumberlander · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am When making turns always take the right lane and you must call out all signs and going through any intersection you must think that you went through an intersection look both ways going in and out to make sure your trailer successfully made it through Reply Doug67 feet · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am I fund these videos very heloful.. Reply Aaron Roberts · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am The guy giving the tear is a dick. That's no way to introduce a new driver to the company Reply Aaron Roberts · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am Is the guy driving double clutching ? Reply Reppy07 · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am Jesus fuck what a maze. Half the test is just getting out of that place it seems. Reply Adam Goebel · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am Is this test for CDL, or the test for being hired? Reply Hotel Traveler · May 16, 2019 at 10:48 am According to NY law no shifting thru the intersection.
