yes no kidding if you are going to work in a nice restaurant and be the best camera in the world and make a lot of money you'd have to know a lot about mines this is the bottom of the day or assuming that you're not a lefty he hold the bottle in front of the guest with the label to his face how you make the pattern don't worry about it you don't have to make the whole cut through the whole bottle okay you start with the right and then you go all the way deep as much as you can can you start squeezing nice and easy okay you don't have to cut the foil from corner to corner for example the made the way I made the cut right now you can see here in the back it's not cut but you don't have to worry about that okay just keep it like that you've done everything right until now the label on the guest you have made the cut nice and clean then you make another cut straightforward okay now all you have to do is with you hmm makes it nice go under the foil and just cut it okay now this is not good but there's a man you already opened the oil just hold it in cut it nice when you open a bottle of wine in front of the guests in a restaurant you will have to have always a white napkin on your hand white one but this works too just to show you how works this napkins used to say like that not to Stella when you make the curtain you remove the foil make sure you take the napkin and smooth the edges of the foil just a little bit that's enough so you don't have particles that stay here and when you put the wine they fall down on the with the wine in the glass and then it's really not pleasant so now you have to learn to work with one hand with your knife to open the cutter close the cutter to open shoulder and of course this i ho don't mind like that any hole you wine opener like that make sure you go straight to the middle put your right finger here so you can have more balance stuck it in the middle and go straight and then you just turn around you don't have to please you don't have to do nothing if it's a white wine maybe you don't have to go all the way in because most of the white wines don't have this big cork and you don't want to go to the cork because sometimes when you called hole right through the cork some of the cops will find a bottle in the wine and then when you pull it's kind of fallen glass and that's not pleasant but when it's a red wine especially Italian make sure you go all the way now we're in this position you won't have to help yourself with with the right hand whoo the bottle open your left hand and just bring the shoulder down on your first step forward a little bit then go to the second room again don't pull it all the way down all the way up okay now from this point I've been doing this now I go up he just with this finger very nice very easy keep pulling the cork when you feel the cork is already moving just go sideways you hear one little you don't want to hear poop no pop this is in some other places not gonna find that in restaurants okay so you squeeze the club a little bit sideways you hear just the notes and that's it the cook is here the windings open you take the cork to the wine opener you take the one make sure that the label stays on top so you squeeze a little bit and that's your position when you put a wine for the guest he should be still able to see the label the one you put a little sip for the guests that order the wine so he can test it in 90% of the guests they smell the wine they testified oh it's excellent and things like that and then you go and start pouring first for the ladies they put out gentlemen and then the last person that you pour the wine is the guy that ordered wine extra I guess enough for wine for beginner weathers that's enough for sure [Applause] [Applause] you

the most important part of how to manuever the screw with one hand you put your hand down and we can see what you did with your fingers to pull up the screw and the words on your video also block your hand so we can t see it but thanks for the videos it was very imformative a bit too slow…

The Procedure of opening the bottle of wine is correct altought are missing two steps: 1st, introduce the bottle to the customer describing the label and above all assure the year is consistent with wine list, describe the proveniente and the grapes blend. 2nd, smell always the Cork to recognize if the wine has cork taste or odd. 3rd, before giving lessons, learn first… Take care

good video overall, but you dont explain the difference between Bistro service like you just did, and hospitality industry wich I'm in. It's pretty much the same thing.. but we never hold the bottle in our hands while opening it, the bottle's face is towars the person who ordered it, then while you open the bottle, it has to remain stable (no movement) on the table so you don't have to practice how to handle a bottle opener with one hand this is fine dining slash bistro. theres a slice differencence between bistro restaurant, fine dining and hospitality industry. If my Maître D would see me open a bottle while I'm holding it in my hands ill get fired lol. just saying and tell new waiter wich side the cork has to be on the table also it might seem stupid but some new waiters really don»'t know about it and it's important

I don't bother with a napkin at all, also I use the sommelier cut to cut the foil, you cut at the first lip not the second. Also, the idea of opening a bottle at the table is so that you continuously have the label facing your guest, very little movement of the bottle is necessary.

Done from the comfort of your home wow not a bad idea, i prefer the Restaurant setting with real customers sitting, but for training this is pretty good.
