Reply Becque Vesper · July 26, 2019 at 4:04 pm I kinda want a personal size TN for my wallet. I feel like my camel passport is too small. I still love it but I will save it for my passport. Were you scared to cut it? Reply John Rush · July 26, 2019 at 4:04 pm I am thinkning that I want to do this to my Blue Traveler's Notebook. But I might buy one specifically for this purpose. Also I want to go get some natural undyed leather and sew in pockets like they have been doing at Baum Kuchen. Reply OG SMilz · July 26, 2019 at 4:04 pm Bravo I absolutely love this video. Inspiring Reply Roni Jones · July 26, 2019 at 4:04 pm I love that you had the guts to give it a face-lift and make it something that you love! I'd like to see it with your inserts in it and/or decorated. Reply Tiffany Liu · July 26, 2019 at 4:04 pm What inserts do you keep in your personal travelers notebook? Reply Lorraine Mcneil · July 26, 2019 at 4:04 pm Love it. Damn right its not a waste. That was genius. Of course you should cut it down if your not using it. Hey, and you love it. Great success story. And you still have a midori!!!!! Wonderful x Reply pam shelton · July 26, 2019 at 4:04 pm I love this, I need one in a6, can I send it to you to do it for me? Lol😀😀😀 Reply Katherine Shu · July 26, 2019 at 4:04 pm You made me want to cut my Midori 😂 can u share how you round the corners ? Reply Tiffany Liu · July 26, 2019 at 4:04 pm How did you burnish the edges of the notebook? Does this personal size fit a hobonichi weeks? Reply Eva Bergsto · July 26, 2019 at 4:04 pm This is a great idea!! I love personal size and I have seen that Midori doent cover that size. But hey, that doesnt stop you! Love it!! Reply Toyah Z · July 26, 2019 at 4:04 pm Thanks so much! I was so on the fence about getting a personal size one because simply I just wanted more space to write.. this helped a lot! Reply Tanya K · July 26, 2019 at 4:04 pm Wow, that turned out great! Reply Kendra Lea · July 26, 2019 at 4:04 pm I've been seriously considering cutting my standard midori for WEEKS now and then this video shows up in my recommendations. Feels like a sign to me 😂 Reply Lisa Heckler · July 26, 2019 at 4:04 pm Thanks for sharing and your video has helped give me the courage to do it! I'm planning on cutting down a brown or a camel to Field Notes size. I have a regular brown Midori and I absolutely love it for writing and artistic endeavors but it's large to carry around. It mostly stays on my desk at home. My everyday carry is FN size I made myself, but there are things I'd like to re-do about it. Since falling in love with the authentic Midori leather and wanting to support and honor the brand that started it all, resizing a second MTN just feels "right" rather than buying a knock-off. Reply Melinda Casino · July 26, 2019 at 4:04 pm Glad it worked out for you – I think it was pretty creative to do that! Reply Marilyn Johnson · July 26, 2019 at 4:04 pm Talk about late to the party! Loved your how to and I'm so glad it turned out great for you! Wondering if you would consider a DYII on the cover that you had made. If it is listed I am not finding it. Loved the look of the one you made probably the best of all! Great work thanks for sharing! Reply Missy Ramos · July 26, 2019 at 4:04 pm I really can't thank you enough! I bought the same Midori a few weeks ago and used it for a few days and it is was to big for me. I have always used a personal size. So, I then ordered a personal size from chic sparrow. I called the store to see if I could return the midori and they said no. That day I ran across your video and came home tonight and cut it to the personal size. Wow, I love it and am so happy!!!! Reply Kimberly Howard · July 26, 2019 at 4:04 pm I really like how you turned it into something you will really use👍🏻😊 Reply Andrea OBrien · July 26, 2019 at 4:04 pm Beautiful job! Might have to try that myself. Reply POKETFULLOFVINTAGE · July 26, 2019 at 4:04 pm Good on you…it your way all the way!…enjoy! Reply clarkbilgrav · July 26, 2019 at 4:04 pm I have absolutely toyed with the idea of cutting down a regular Midori to a smaller size. I am a passport size girl, but I don't like the fact that they aren't wide enough. Congratulations on a job well done! Reply Rebecca G. · July 26, 2019 at 4:04 pm This is a travesty. Stick with the knockoffs honey. Reply Lulu Lime Designs · July 26, 2019 at 4:04 pm You rocked it. It looks wonderful and it's all about what works for you. I love standard size and don't like personal at all – different strokes for different folks! Enjoy your camel, its gorgeous. Great video and bravery! Reply John Rush · July 26, 2019 at 4:04 pm Wow, that scared me when I saw what you were doing! But it looks great! Glad you can now use you lovely Camel now! Reply Sussa · July 26, 2019 at 4:04 pm Wow, I was scared for you when I read you were going to cut this down, but it turned out fantastic! Great job! Reply Ilky Way · July 26, 2019 at 4:04 pm Love what you did there! Reply Mermaids & Lace · July 26, 2019 at 4:04 pm Great Idea! And it came out beautifully!
