Pygar2 · May 31, 2019 at 11:17 am

Shug, what is that orange gridwork doohicky handing off your hammock line?

Tracey Allen · May 31, 2019 at 11:17 am

Shug did you get a new ride? Looking very German now.

cgriggsiv · May 31, 2019 at 11:17 am

Yes shug that was an awesome video
Definitely needed a Zen moment out in the woods solo style
I understand those moments all too well and half the time I can't get my butt out there fast enough

bigcurefan · May 31, 2019 at 11:17 am

Poop pack? Now you need to explain what all is in the pack. "What's in your poop pack?!"

Draven Barlow · May 31, 2019 at 11:17 am

you can also get the toe socks just by google ninja socks or tabi boot socks

Draven Barlow · May 31, 2019 at 11:17 am

so why the green and yellow are you a packers fan lol ,,

Mike Jones · May 31, 2019 at 11:17 am

Thanks Shug 👑! That loon makes me think of your control line flying videos. Just waiting for the square loops. If you get into building a new plane it could have a loon theme 😃!

Eat Carbs Outdoors · May 31, 2019 at 11:17 am

Enjoyed the video
Thanks

Jameson Olson · May 31, 2019 at 11:17 am

Great stuff as always Shug. Has me yearning to get back to the BWCA.

Rhett Oracle · May 31, 2019 at 11:17 am

Killer moose drops in for the (jugular) juggler! Cheers

panzerabwerkanone · May 31, 2019 at 11:17 am

Hey Shug buddy. I live in Georgia and I don't really have the need for a high end down quilt. Any recommendations for a synthetic top quilt that will weather our cool wet winters here?

bill b · May 31, 2019 at 11:17 am

Watching Shug laying in the hammock with my new orange metal straw in my suspension whoooo buddy

gtrevino50 · May 31, 2019 at 11:17 am

So, is that Poor Wayfaring Stranger at the beginning? We rode that song all the way to the one act play state championships in high school!

Wulgar · May 31, 2019 at 11:17 am

Beautiful scenery, entertaining and good information as always. Appreciate you sharing. I will get out to the Boundary Waters late summer or early fall when the skeeters aren’t so bad. Have always canoed, but backpacking sounds like a good idea.

Kim Krueger · May 31, 2019 at 11:17 am

SO glad you were able to get out and about again! Was the Thai Tea supposed to be with hot water? I've only ever had it cold…

geneo * · May 31, 2019 at 11:17 am

Jon Hartzler · May 31, 2019 at 11:17 am

Yo Bentley · May 31, 2019 at 11:17 am

Thank you my friend. I have been waiting and you came through. Love you man.

earlymusicus · May 31, 2019 at 11:17 am

Great video, as always Shug! What a beautiful lakeside campsite! I really love the music. You and your friends are fantastic musicians. I really need to get going on my mandolin. Been spending my music time on piano, handbell choir at church, adult choir at church (soprano) and playing Baroque soprano recorder and singing in Worship Ensemble. Chorus are off for the summer so it’s a good time to get my mandolin out. 😊

functional lye · May 31, 2019 at 11:17 am

😀

Daaza · May 31, 2019 at 11:17 am

Missed you mate! Beautiful lake views and Pacific Islanders national footwear for winter eg..flipflops and socks. Summer take the socks off and save them for church on sunday with ya goin out flipflops😎.
Does Meg get jealous of you taking alone time to revive your soul or does she throw your backpack at your head n tell you to GIT if ya get too cranky?
Great footage but hurry and put part 2 up already!!!!!

Landon Wold · May 31, 2019 at 11:17 am

Nice socks shug! I have to get pair.

RatdogDRB · May 31, 2019 at 11:17 am

Nice !! Love seein' the new gear, glad you're getting out. I borrowed your "zip a jacket around your hooves" technique this weekend while I too was camping for the Holiday weekend. I was car camping in a camp ground, so, I had to use my trusty ENO hammock stand with my ENO Double Nest.

The hooves got a little cold the first night. My quilts are only 40 degree jobs, and with a diagonal lay, it left the hooves chilled from beneath. The jacket did the trick and I was snug as could be after that. Thanks for sharing that one. Best sleeping I get, inside the hammock. Lots of resting, read three books, ate well. Loved it.

Forrest Gibb · May 31, 2019 at 11:17 am

Absolutely love your mandolin playing. I would buy your songs.

Fin Feeder Flies · May 31, 2019 at 11:17 am

lapicker · May 31, 2019 at 11:17 am

Fun fact Shug…Kansas recorded Dust in the Wind right here in South Louisiana at Studio in the Country in Bogalusa where I used to enjoy a bit of gainful employment cutting tracks when I was a classical guitar major at nearby Southeastern Louisiana University over 40 years ago. 🙂

R L · May 31, 2019 at 11:17 am

Awesome vid Shug in a beautiful place ! " Why Shug Why ?" Lmao
Happy belated birthday man ! Lookin' tip top for 61 and Happy Anniversary as well. Glad you guys got to go 1st class. Cirque Du Soleil is a great show. Had the privilege of being part of it one night in Vegas. Thanks for posting this. Looking forward to your next. Take care.

Joel McDearmon · May 31, 2019 at 11:17 am

Made me laugh out loud when I realized Shug was playing "Dust in the Wind". No wonder it sounded familiar. Nicely done.

Bberms21 · May 31, 2019 at 11:17 am

Great vid shug! Btw, can you tell me what months you get away without having a bug net in bwca? Thanks a lot again for taking time to read these comments shug. I imagine that might get old so thanks.
