Faster! faster! 😀

Quacks0 · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

Love how she makes the viola sound like a chorus of strings 🙂

Quacks0 · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

Lovely and cute… why can't I hear the guitar, though?  Was his amp not plugged in??

hooktender · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

She's really good…!

rogermwilcox · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

But did the two of you ever bring home that baby bumblebee?

Quinn Howard · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

I hear this, and I'm transported back to wonderful Mountain View, Arkansas.

Eugene Risi · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

This is beatuful!!

Joe Boysen · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

What a handsome couple!  What a gorgeous, sexy girl!

fiddlenbrush · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

Love it!! Thanks for posting this.

Gary Lacher · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

Wonderful performance. For a fun comparison, watch Laurel and Hardy in "The Music Box" where they dance to this number with a player piano. (Actually hand played off screen)

Paul V. Gentile · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

WOW!!! I love the tone of your fiddle. I'm loving the way you're playing this, it has almost a "classical" flavor in some areas and its AWESOME.

Harriger55 · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

There's a Mel Bay book that has a version with the double stops. They're not too hard to figure out. Open D on the lower parts and open A on the higher.

Rachel Swiftie · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

Wow thats good

Julianne Reyes · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

rocketrob · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

Wow The young lady rocks!
Such Focus!
I like the low B part.
Would love to hear more from her.

Boogie Maam · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

Never heard this song before. soooo pretty. Thanks.

thebigandroid · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

beautiful!

MsMusicraze · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

What style are you playing? All I can find is the blue grass style that sounds like a tin can.

MsMusicraze · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

Where did you get the music? I can't find the music with the double stops. It sounds great.

shredhappy101 · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

The fiddle is tuned the same as the mandolin. G-D-A-E or (DO SO RE LA)
or (SO RE LA ME) depending on if you consider DO to be C or if you consider it to be G.

monteleone1010 · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

Arkansas Traveler, Iowa Stubborn, Mississippi Mud, Carolina Moon, Somewhere In Old Wyoming, Deep In the Heart Of Texas, Missouri Waltz, Back Home Again In Indiana, Blue Moon Of Kentucky, Tennessee Waltz, Alabamy Bound, etc..etc, I LOVE those state songs.

Bill Gauthier · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

Just found this. Best version of Arkansas Traveler that I've heard. Devilishly good.

Rick Cosmo · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

she rocks

rolfingoz · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

How is the fiddle tuned? Sounds more classical than folk. do me so do?

Tom Clark · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

NICE!

Bridgit Campbell · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

Loved the fiddle but the guitarist was a little shy.

Liz Burch · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

i can do that! 😀 yay me

Mark O'Boyle · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

that's got to be a viola, or your 3 feet tall. liked it:)

aaaidan · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

Can't hear guitar so well, but man. Great fiddlin'

stevenjmajike · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

Excellent rendition of a classic tune. Thanks!

Dakota Delorme · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

good job !!
me and my friends can play this just not dounle stringed!!

soleilpourtoi · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

dang, why don't you live closer! haha! I would love to hear you fiddle it up live!!!! xo: )

EricFlatpick · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

I never thought of "soaring" as a likely characterization of this tune, but man, this soars–especially the B part. Inspiring. Imho, the acoustics of that place only help the soaring. Thanks!

Molly Rosenfeld · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

Awesome! Great job.

Mike Dalton · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

learning how to spell would help YOU sound less"tinny";)

scmivscmiv · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

It's a viola strung like a violin. E A D G Sounds great. I play a 15" five string viola. E A D G C. Violin strings will fit on a 15" viola with fine tuners. Or use three viola strings and a loop end .010 string for the E.

Mandolin1944 · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

Very nice job! Ha I first thought viola too but when I heard it I know it was a violin — obviously the fiddler is petite so the instrument looks deceptively large. Fun to listen to.

HERDARIO · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

thinking in having an mp3 version 🙂

HERDARIO · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

You Rock! I'd pay to say you live

bottleimp007 · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

Good performance – congrats!

z0mz0m · May 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm

oh god, no. stick to your vivaldi and so forth. don't try to fit good ole american folk tunes into a candlelit dinner dress suit.
