22 & 23 year old TRAVEL FULL-TIME (dream job) | VAN LIFE GUATEMALA

Published by Darron Toy on

three two one you got this now yes yes you're about to blow under the bridge that's Aubrey's ocean dance ID there today we are hiking apparently there's armed robberies in this volcano potentially and so that kind of sketches me out yeah there were some good more views of one star you know somebody came in with machete hikes not worth your life but that was only like a couple of reviews and I think we're gonna be good but I think we're gonna end up having a guide because that's just it comes with a guy the entry fee yeah so you're gonna go flogged down a little boat okay no let's go I think I should probably take the right right oh hell no yeah then to hike up this misty mountain right here there's a little boat huh Oh time I hope it's a passenger boat not a private what just not to the very top okay apparently the hiked all the way to the top we were right about the robberies I said there's been enough armed robbery recently that they're not taking people all the way at the top right now crazy I can understand stopping a tourist car yeah but like robbing people when they have a guide sir yeah extreme yeah true I have armadillos here very Texas animals no I really hope we see one of those piggy board things javelina yeah piggy boy thinks you look like little pigs you know have you ever seen howling this before no they are massive okay why so unsee one you probably like bouncing you're nasty you just like weird animals we can see this beautiful you know I like Jaguars something you'd be more interested now later yeah that's definitely so smiley their own business look at them and look there's a little big ol piglet Charlotte trying to learn the ropes alright legs can you do this hike I'm ready you better be you haven't been on I can't really long time legs are you ready we're ready alright let's get going we're gonna be a good gringa and not get sunburnt and so I wore a long sleeve shirt I'm pretty upset about it huh it's pretty warm this is our guide Andres hola are those little legs and glutes doing now consistently hammer at such a high elevation I'd like I'm losing my breath [Applause] always very cloudy yes yeah that's common the Akama so they say I've been in Oregon oh ah so our ganna coffee yeah super green so you try try process it's too close to the coffee organic organic is so doubly their own organically located people they don't know that it isn't a safe chemical because it's nice its productions just huge me their OS finish 20 me 20 years so the entire organic Oh forever how you doing huh little tired you can pick through at the view here how are you ingest my dad no problemo hi you're good okay don't see shot I don't see much pain actually look at me dude I'm tripping huh oh and racist iced my agent way better shape all that breeze is nice you are like rad as a beet dude dude sick long and not working out for a month let's be honest that's really the big problem right here you've got San Pablo San Marcos San Juan and see pager San Pedro wow it is look you can see the yeah you can't this lake is so big it has its own little ecosystem so we've got is that 11 once a downs and we can spot four of them right now one two three and then one little tucked-away over here hey babe oh do you feel like an energy ball I would but I think it's gonna make us too thirsty I don't even think we're halfway yeah we're not are we halfway twenty minutes mark yes I feel like an absolute whimpers snapper thing just keeps going up how my heart keeps going down and down and down yes it's a good hike I'm just trying to keep overtime Jess I know Andres is like a slow and steady wins the race yeah absolutely started this hike going full force cocky little whimpers snappers we have the camera you have any excuse to stop just film you know there's gonna stop him film okay cuz I'm gonna catch up with them now legs how are we doing oh my god it hurts it burns legs you gotta do this you gotta you gotta crack in action bros let's go fine alright let's go let's go let's go oh yeah right it's not the Sun it's like a block of oxygen yeah I feel like I'm gonna hydrate but it's just that I'm not used to the elevation you feel that yeah fella aren't you grabbing out of this pot is carbon sorry there's some energy for you here's some energy for ya Christy do you want the rifle it's all it's peanut butter gee yeah thank you for the energy sure Cheers huh just like that the energy has been devoured no the energy right it was nice to know exactly where the sign says connubial it's pointing to this swing looks like the funnest swing I've ever seen in my life so I'm definitely doing that mm-hmm show us what you got okay two or three oh oh you're gonna get stuck is that fun boo no does please you go way out there yeah baby you know I go again [Applause] all right beasts uh-oh I'll take the pack for you no I'm good oh now that it's downhill I'll take this pack all geared up and ready to go huh this hike is killing us we just saw this older man it was like in his 60s or Sony's or they're coming down with a huge pack of wood on his back just pluck him right down the mountain no problem does it every day shows us up huh goodbye beautiful view Andres has been the chillest rollin with us giving us time on the way down load this guy is a speed demon way up there and without a care in the world just chillin all right there we are made it hey feelin big journey huh well since I got up really early really by our standards it's like before 7:00 we have more time today and usually that would be a good day we need to head back to the van but in Guatemala we are stretched for time you're just like very right on this schedule so like we're gonna add one more thing to this day and I'm pretty excited about it as a coffee lover it's pretty stoked man we're gonna go to a little organic coffee farm suit and see what they do – Doug I'm just stoked for a cup of coffee I'll pay ten bucks a cup of coffee right no forget the tar [Applause] okay we'll get some coffee man very near back in half I feel like almost giddy like he got coffee on the ground good yeah living and breathing it dude I saw it not even on the tour yet you got two coffees nice boy it's gonna bag sixty very honestly I know I haven't seen you happier in a really long time but they had like counter culture coffee uses their coffee there's Maps everywhere there's coffee everywhere there's I haven't man Madsen coffee oh yeah personally I'm just enjoying the Wi-Fi and catching up on Instagram so kind of a smile as they come unfortunately actually both of us are Christians obsessed with coffee and I'm excited for the Wi-Fi so premium yeah so when it's harvesting season is this place just covered in red yeah Luke is right normally when it's coffee cheer is like a bright red color in Sweden I see normally this reason they call it cheery because it's sweet yeah oh I'm just it's sweet when you try it you suck it yes we only when you are poppin you don't eat the skin right we choose a new choice yeah we sacrifice sweetness it's good that's a real calculation yeah it's really that's what's talking about it's really sleepy mm-hmm super super so after it dries it bag its bags really very important that is like people here are feeling the effects of climate change yeah way that I've never experienced yes in because they're farming they're like lives depend on these crops and that's being affected you can see that it's like drier than it should be it's being affected by climate change and just so interesting where like we live in the u.s. a lot of times you can ignore it because it's not really in your face here it's like obvious what's going on so indigenous people here you would think would not be more progressive than Americans but on all the B's topics like yeah and wildly more progressive like there's no you know argument about these things for it guys it's a you know some people think that this is you know changing in the climate and you know I don't think that no it's like no it's changing I mean yeah it's really challenging so yeah I agree it's a I don't know it should put things in a perspective for us yes thank you to skill chair for sponsoring this video we really really appreciate its culture support and if you don't know who skill sure is I'm not where the heck you have been skill chair has been in our lives for a very long time if you want to learn any skill that then you can make into a business which then might put you on the road so we're talking things like web development design photography videography editing audio development everything everything on his son you can learn it from professionals in their field on Skillshare Skillshare has thousands and thousands and thousands of different courses that you can take so again if you want to do something like what we're doing I highly recommend their courses in the Adobe suite so that's premieres video editing that's Adobe Audition audio editing everything else that you can use to create a social media brand I have taken the audio courses they were really helpful for me we have taken photography courses they are in helpful mostly for me because they cannot reason the more skilled on the two of us so I really recommend those courses and if that sounds interesting to you you can pick up one skill for free skill Cherry's hooking you off the first 500 of you that sign up they're going to give two months for free that's gonna be at least one good skill maybe two good skills maybe three good skills yeah at least one easy yeah in a bag yes usually one good skill and that could honestly could be the difference of you completely not knowing what you're doing with something like film – how to get decent enough foundation to where you could launch your own social media brand so again I really encourage you if this sounds interesting to you go down to the link sign up for free for two months it supports our channel and helps us up quite a bit when you do that and more importantly it learns you a valuable skill that's true more importantly it teaches you your course and grammar thank you guys so much for watching we hope you the video if you enjoy the video feel free to you know give it a like in the comment if you didn't enjoy the video we highly loved your negativity we'll see you guys in the next video peace out [Applause]

It’s sad to know how far behind the curve we are on organic and climate change.

the · May 16, 2019 at 11:48 am

i didn’t hear anyone talk about climate change but some ultra progressive hipsters who live in a car

Love Lake Atitlan , I also usually stay at Pasajcap . Say Hi to Pierre, look into the Indian hike at sunrise…it is work getting up at 3 am. There are amazing hikes at the lake. My Best restaurant are Hans ( in the town of Jaibailito) great hike from Pasajcap to jabalito.

Omg the Leg talk. You are too funny Aubrey ❤️❤️❤️

Deborah Simpson · May 16, 2019 at 11:48 am

Your giving a hoot about the environment is definitely why you aren't in the little fold with T&A and NM… as they are on the same lake and totally in your face accentuating "Meat" in every video. Their sense of entitlement to aid in the cruelty of global environmental degradation is a conscious choice, not ignorance and that's pretty hard to stomach.. Their videos have some good stuff but that lack of desire to behave with other's futures in mind is just mind-blowing.
