[Applause] I could literally eat this table and also we possibly get crushed a funeral all in today's work hola amigos and welcome back to Mexico and more specifically welcome back to care to those state in central Mexico today's Tuesday is May the 7th there are clear blue skies it's absolutely beautiful today and I've come to another magic town once again today I'm in turkey skia pan which I've probably just butchered in terms of pronunciation but you can also call it two keys for sure because that's what the bus driver said to me wonderful I'm really tired today I'm gonna be honest and I still have Bambi legs after cramping any OD by now two days ago in real time however isn't that what travels about getting exhausted having a great time seeing amazing places yes it is so today we described a bit of a chill today this video will be the antithesis of the last video no noise no climbing monoliths which a clever look around this one for magic town and see what we can find let's get going now if you're new to Mexico like I was about 14 months ago you might not know about per blood makiko's because I didn't know about them back then magic sounds essentially so these towns are very traditional they've been preserved in the condition that they've always been in for many years and there are so many of them all of our Mexico so I could literally spend five years traveling around this country visiting every single one and still remain amazed at every single one because they all have their own individual charm so I'm just going to walk around this central area now and show you the typical attributes of the central area in a magic town okay so I consider magic towns to all be quite unique some people might disagree because there are common things that you will see in magic town for example all around the outside you have shops like independent shops clothing souvenir shops restaurants that kind of thing on the outside beautiful you've got lots of trees plants foliage colorful flowers benches you can sit on to relax it would obviously be significantly busier at the weekend over there under the tree which I'm not sure you can see because of the shadow there's a guy playing the guitar he's also the shoe-shining man and behind him you have a little train so if you've got children magic towns are a great place to come maybe at the weekend throw your kids in a little train not literally and in the middle here you have like a central bandstand I think that's what I would call it I'm not sure and normally at the weekend you'll have children sort of playing on the top sometimes it could be difficult to get up there because of all the children but it's all good and as we head out head out into the central area and how beautiful this is it's amazing you have like the sign there that you'll see in all of these small towns also larger towns as well will have them and next to it is once again another magnificent church this is the parish of Santa Maria and it's made out of pink sandstone with the floral design there's a big stained-glass window in the middle clock at the top bell tower and I think at the top I'm not sure let me zoom in is that like a weather vane so you know it goes round in the wind and like a compass on the top I'm not sure I've never seen one on a church before but yeah beautiful we're gonna go in there in a minute over there found in it doesn't appear to be in operation at the moment lots of lovely restaurants behind and streets going off in the distance and so you know if you have been to Mexico you've been to somewhere like Cancun or Puerto by Auto and you've stayed in a resort nothing wrong with that of course because that's great but you know if you want to experience the real Mexico I can't believe I've just said that and you know with real Mexicans all around you local life magic towns are the place to come you so I can only assume that that is some kind of funeral procession possibly for a placement because of lots of police cars please everywhere with flowers on the back of the police cars so we're gonna get out of here leave them to it and we're gonna investigate some of the food and drink in Tahiti mmm YUM okay as I said in the last video Kenna Trudeau is the second largest producer of wine in Mexico in terms of the state after Baja California apparently and also cheese there are additionally a number of fusion restaurants here just like in Bernal so Mexican and Italian Mexican a French that sort of thing so right up my street and over there is museo del que sorry el vino wine and cheese museum but unfortunately the restaurant is closed if they do some awesome what looks like awesome it's Hallion my pastor we've covered on shrimp that sort of thing and they've got lighter cheeses in there and shop they've got a cheese shop as well with marmalade things like that so we're unfortunate I can't go there run somewhere else to eat okay I've done a thing completely like a tourist I bought some marmalade Jamaica con vino Tinto I have nothing to put it on obviously but I still just like lovely mmm oh it tastes of red wine obviously you know dimple mmm beautiful it was a pipetters no bad I'll have that one some toast oh my god and right next to where I was eating that marmalade there's a quesadilla with a hundred varieties of cheese can we just say that again there's a hundred varieties of cheese which is literally heaven that's easy vehicle approaches governor thing with this middle the morning and afternoon as French gracias mmm ah three notes okay i manchego but it's through time apologies because I can't go inside because it's too dark to film there might be a bit of wind out here okay and also a lot of the restaurants need to be closed but I don't know why Tuesday afternoon who knows but I found one that is open I'm gonna have Sistina one of my favorites basically meat beautiful I think comes my wine I have vino Tinto red wine in the middle of Tuesday afternoon it smells wonderful I can smell it from here already beautiful I might have two of these why not and also the Sistina comes with enchiladas Verdes even frijoles so basically it's everything I like on one play I can't wait I'm so starving I could literally eat this table but I won't and this wine is spectacular I'm not sure if it's actual wine this from this region Takia pan okay no kettle because I don't think I have any any like literally a restaurant up there seems to have local wine of some reason but anyway okay food is here look at this I'm lost for words I'm so lucky right now look at the size of that sestina it's huge enchiladas Venice with me Harless bread with South avetis and also good wine look at the size of it it's huge that is literally the best thing I've had on my plates forever let's duck in right I'm so happy right now amigos this is amazing even got like one of them knives to cut the bread the bread the meat with this is spectacular sigh oh so we got meat it's got a bit of salsa on it stunning um I'm Jane that's beautiful the thing I like about Cecina I'm gonna pretend to be a food expert now which I thought is that it's like a thin piece of beef what do you think it's not chewy do you know how I'm gonna cope when I leave Mexico in a couple of months we're gonna do without this food you know I'm going to Canada yeah I know the food is wonderful in Montreal because I've been there this is spectacular okay it's time to go home I have a red tongue beautiful in this video we have eaten some cheese we've drunk some wine we've taken a look around we've had some amazing food and also we possibly gained crashed a funeral all in a day's work so next time we will be heading back to guanajuato I was there last year in September and there may be a special guest in one of those videos so look forward to that don't forget to Like comment and subscribe let me know what you think of techie skia pan if you've been here I'm a bit tipsy now it's time to go home I'll catch you later you you or second okay night I look there oh yeah follow-up it's insane emotional you know it's library get drunk hello what are we doing

Hola amigos!! THIS IS TEQUISQUIAPAN! Another spectacularly colourful Pueblo Magico in Mexico. I've been to so many over the last year, but as I said in the video, I didn't have a clue they existed before I came to Mexico. If you're a foreigner, it may be the same for you! Next up, ERIN!!! Who's excited?! 🇲🇽❤🇲🇽

¡¡Hola amigos!! A continuación, ERIN !!! ¿Quién está emocionado? 🇲🇽❤🇲🇽

La traducción viene pronto!

Dear David 📸
Gracias for taking the time to share your Journey with us 🍷

I usually shy away from ordering a slice of meat in Mexico because I am usually dissapointed. Too chewy for my taste. Yours looks great, however!

You can leave Mexico, but Mexico will never leave you… It’s the same with me & Guatemala. Every time I go, I have a harder time leaving.

Such a gorgeous town! Those cheeses looked great!

Global Adventurer · May 15, 2019 at 1:28 pm

Very lovely town. One day I'll make it to some of the pueblos you've visited, but for now I'm just trying to put a dent in Mexico City. Too many places to see.

I basically live across the street from the Frida Kahlo museum, and finally went inside today.

Just got home and decided to take a break and watch your video and NOW I'm hungry😋 So, off I go to find something good to eat before I go check out the Leon Trotsky museum.

Hate to see you leave. But, I'll still be following you.

I love all the colors on the buildings! Maybe places were closed due to the funeral

Alejandro Lopez · May 15, 2019 at 1:28 pm

Another very well made and informative video with the special David touch and humor. It feels weird to hear you say you will be leaving Mexico soon. I guess I just got used to seeing your videos from places I visited or from special places from my childhood like Coyoacan. I get the same sad emotion and feelings like the ones I felt 30 yrs ago when I left Mexico. Good travels my friend and looking forward to your new adventures.

Jose Manuel Z · May 15, 2019 at 1:28 pm

Again, YOU are great David! In a very simple way you make us feel the place. I love always your music selection and I enjoy how you enjoy the moments of your meals. Congratulations my friend.

Delightful town. I like "real" Mexico myself – with locals and old architecture everywhere and "real" Mexican food. Another nice video, pal.
