தேசத்தின் நன்மை ! Walk with Jesus | Bro. Mohan C Lazarus | JAN 11
Dearly beloved, Loving greetings to you in the name of Jesus Christ! Are you happy? Is this day bringing you joy? When you’re with Jesus, every day is a joy, isn’t it? So, learn to walk with Him and to talk with Him! We must pave way to allow Him to talk with us. We must pay attention! Christian life is not about keeping on asking for our supplications in prayer. It is necessary to listen to what God has to tell us. He has promised that He would give goodness and so also in double portion. This year, you believe in His promise. Did you pray referring to that promise today? Say the promise and pray, Remember the promise every day! God shall make it come to pass. Are you thinking, “I’m praying claiming the promise verse but there’s nothing worthwhile happening to me!” Look at another verse in Isaiah 1:19, “If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land.” “If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land.” ‘Good of the land’ – Look at our country, India! Do you know what a fertile country it is? I’ve been to many countries across the world. But this country is blessed so differently. How many great rivers originate here! How many springs are there! How many waterfalls! How many such rich blessings are there in our country! If you look from South India up to the North, the produce from lands, the fields, the fruits that are cultivated in the land, the vegetables, the cereals, just think about it! Mines! Such as the coal mines. It is a land containing so many such blessings and goodness! But, are we eating those goodness? Are we enjoying the goodness? Think about it! Many are not eating the goodness! You ought to ‘eat the goodness of the land’. But many lack that. They do not own a house nor they are rich, people lay on the streets, many who are not in peace. It is said that majority of the people in this land of such great blessings are living below the poverty line. What a sad thing it is! I used to feel very sad thinking about it. Even though such things happen around you, God gives you a promise: “If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land.” Which means, you’ve to obey His word! The God who created us, who blessed us, the God who created the heaven and the earth, the God who established India! If you obey this God, you shall eat the good of the land. God has enabled me to eat the good of the land. Many used to ask me which country I like the best among all those I had visited and I’d reply that India is my favorite country. My country is the best for me! This country is a blessed land. Whatever the world might say about it, still my country is a blessed land. God has kept me as a blessing in this country! I’m eating the good of the land; I’m enjoying it; rejoicing in it and it’s a great joy to be in this country. Even though, I travel many countries I often thirst to get back to India. This is the land that God has given me. He has kept me in this country. This is a land of blessing.
I’m eating its goodness. I’m enjoying the blessing.
Do you know the reason? It’s only because, I obey God! He has blessed me with this land, enabled me graciously to eat and enjoy the good of this land without any want because, I obey my God! Are you also eating the good of this land?
Please obey God! Listen to what God says, read the Bible to know what should you do and how you must be in order to eat the good of the land. Isn’t it told in the Bible?
Just submit yourself to live accordingly; you shall eat the good of the land! You shall receive goodness! “God, I must always obey Your word! I must live accordingly; I must eat the good of this land.” – You must say! You must say, “God has kept me without any want”. Will you submit yourself according to this? “Father, our country is a good one. It is a fertile land; it’s a blessed land. In order to eat the good of this land, please grant us Your grace to always obey Your word, Father. Please grant these wonderful children Your grace to obey You and live according to Your word. Let them eat and enjoy the good of this land, let them live as blessed ones who do not lack anything. In Jesus’ name I pray, Father! Amen. Amen.”
